Ondamru
온담루 Ondamru reads as on (warm), dam (mild, plain) and ru (pavilion); one post relays the house's own gloss, 'warm, mild food enjoyed in a pavilion'.

A small handmade-dumpling shop on the ground floor of a side street off Achasan-ro 7-gil, near exit 1 of Seongsu Station. The core is dumpling soup in a clear vegetable broth (12,000 won), alongside rice-cake dumpling soup, steamed dumplings and two dumpling noodle soups (13,000 won); fillings are meat, kimchi or spicy kimchi, half-and-half allowed. The same spot was 'Gimduman' until a change of name and owner around autumn 2025. We read 24 posts from September 2025 to September 2026; 21 describe a visit (one of those is a 2024 visit to Gimduman, which we did not count).

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.
What sets it apart
- Heat depends on what you order, and the posts split evenly. Five call it hot, mostly about the spicy-kimchi dumplings ('I paid for it the next day'). Five more stop short of a verdict, typically calling the gochujang noodle soup hearty but not hot even for someone who can't take spice. One post warns that even the meat dumplings contain sliced chili and seeds.
- The room is small: four posts say so outright, though one notes there are quite a few tables for a one-person operation. Four call it clean, two quiet, and one mentions an open kitchen.
- Lunch is busy but nobody reports a long wait: one found no queue just before noon on a weekday, one saw people waiting outside as noon approached, and two came close without waiting. Selling out is the bigger risk — one writer arrived after 1 pm as the owner hung a 'dumplings sold out' sign, another found the noodle soup gone.
- It's a walk from the subway: two posts describe walking from exit 1 of Seongsu Station, about five to seven minutes, and one stresses using exit 1 rather than the Yeonmujang side.

There is no parking at the shop; one writer who drove used the nearby Seongsu 2-ga 3-dong public lot. Another post repeats this in a copied info block, which we did not count.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 1 (of 18 posts read) |
|---|
One post places it on the ground floor; none describes the entrance.
No post says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in. That means unknown, not absent.
No post mentions the toilet — whether it is inside or separated by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 20 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- The same address and phone number belonged to 'Gimduman' until it changed name and owner; a September 2025 post records the switch. We set aside a May 2024 Gimduman review that itself says the place has changed. This is a change of owner, not a move.
- Opening hours have changed and we don't know the current ones. Posts from September to December 2025 list weekdays until 9 pm with a 3-5 pm break; six posts from January to April 2026 list weekdays 11-7, Saturday 11-4, closed Sunday; one June 2026 post lists weekdays 11-4 and closed weekends. All are copied listings, and no post after July 2026 gives hours.
- Prices held steady from September 2025 to September 2026: 12,000 won for the dumpling soups, 13,000 for the noodle soups. Only the steamed dumplings rose, from 10,000 won in September 2025 to 11,000 from March 2026. A meal is usually 12,000-13,000 won, and three posts say rice comes free with the soup on request.
- Company varies: three posts went as a group, mostly coworkers, two with friends, one as a couple, one alone. One brought a friend's child, but nobody mentions high chairs or similar.
- Six posts give the phone number 0507-1493-3023. Phone takeout and booking appear only in copied info blocks, and nobody reports actually booking; one post did take away four plates of steamed dumplings.
- Three March 2026 posts share identical phrasing about the location and the noodle soup. None discloses sponsorship, but they may come from the same template.
