Oh! Meal
오밀 성수 Omil Seongsu The Latin spelling on the sign is Oh! Meal, an exclamation at mealtime; the Korean 오밀 is read the same way, with Seongsu marking this branch.

A pasta-and-omurice restaurant on the ground floor of a red-brick building on Achasan-ro 5-gil, in the lanes north of Seongsu Station. Most mains are 15,900–19,900 won, the Omil Steak is 37,900, and a two-person set of two mains, soba maki and two drinks is 48,700. You order by shaking a small bell that comes with the menu; water, pickles and aprons are at a self-service bar. The most-ordered dishes were the soba maki (9 posts), the rubber-duck omurice (7) and the gochujang-butter pasta (5). We read 30 posts published between 24 September and 6 October 2026; after removing 9 about the Hongdae, Hyehwa and Eungam branches or other shops, 21 are about this restaurant and 19 describe a visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Six posts said there is a queue. One writer gave up on a weekday lunch when the wait showed over an hour; another, on the 1 May holiday, queued outside before finding the CatchTable kiosk by the door or the stairs. Two posts went on a weekday evening or weekday lunch and did not wait, and two of the six also said they walked straight in on a weekday evening. One post booked through Naver and was seated right at opening.
- The child-friendly praise is specific. Four visit posts mention high chairs and three went with children. One family asked the kitchen to microwave store-bought baby food and it was done gladly; another said the owner gave their twins a second rubber duck so they would not fight. That same family noted the omurice rice was a little spicy for the children.
- More of the menu is spicy than the cute styling suggests. Four posts called something spicy, including all three that ordered the spicy seafood pasta; one said it was quite hot but manageable, another that it was hotter than the spicy chuck risotto.
- Three posts said prices were not high, all about the two-person set, which one called good value for Seongsu; none called it expensive. One family's bill for the rubber-duck omurice, the steak, the cheese katsu and drinks came to 71,700 won. Three posts mention a review event that gives a 3,500-won drink for a Naver receipt or Google review.

Two visit posts said there is no parking at the shop. Drivers used nearby public lots; one recommended the Seongsu 2-ga 3-dong lot at 1,800 won an hour, under five minutes' walk away.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

The shop is on the ground floor (one post), but another says you enter via steps. No one wrote about getting in with a wheelchair or stroller; that is an absence of reports, not a confirmed barrier.
Two posts disagree on the toilets. A May visitor described separate men's and women's toilets outside the shop off the building stairwell, possibly with a code; an October visitor described a unisex and a women's toilet further inside, with mouthwash and hand cream. We cannot tell which reflects the current layout.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 17 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Posts split one to one on a waiting area: an evening visitor described seats with house-made cushions, while a holiday-lunch visitor said there was no waiting space at all and they stood by a road with passing cars.
- One post says it is about a six-minute walk down a lane from Seongsu Station exit 1; another says it is a bit of a walk. Other distances (10 minutes, 541 m) were copied alongside the address, so we did not count them.
- Seven posts give the same hours, 11:30 to 21:15 with last orders at 20:30, mostly copied with the address. Only a May visitor reported closing at 21:00 with a 15:00–17:00 break, and we cannot tell whether the hours changed. Four posts give the phone number 0507-1397-9197; bookings are via Naver or CatchTable.
- The toy that comes with the rubber-duck omurice changed: posts through late September show a summer duck on a swim ring, and posts from early October a Halloween duck in a pumpkin. One writer noted the menu labels it a limited event, so check before going if the duck is the point.
- Two posts say an N.Flying member is a regular, but that is hearsay and not counted. Posts about the Hongdae, Hyehwa and upcoming Eungam branches were excluded from these counts.
