Osai Chobap Seongsu-jeom
오사이초밥 성수점 Chobap is the Korean word for sushi; the posts give no meaning for 'Osai'.

A reservation-only sushi omakase counter on Yeonmujang 3-gil, between Seongsu and Ttukseom stations. Two posts give the lunch course as 22,000 won; it runs from flounder through soy-marinated shrimp, monkfish liver and a futomaki roll to udon. The name belongs to a chain with branches in Konkuk, Gwanghwamun, Jamsil and elsewhere, so posts get mixed up. We read 30 posts dated 1 September to 5 October 2026; 6 are about this Seongsu branch (5 first-hand visits, 1 neighbourhood list entry). The other 24 were about other branches or other sushi places and were not counted.

What sets it apart
- You book ahead: four posts say they reserved. Entry is timed too — one post says you can't go in early and staff come out at the exact start time to call you in, and another saw a sign at the door saying guests are called on the hour. One diner arrived an hour and a half early and waited in a nearby café.
- One post describes the seats as a single long counter facing the kitchen. Another counted 11 seats and found every one taken at a 2 p.m. lunch slot.
- One post found the pace brisk and warned that anyone wanting a leisurely omakase should bear that in mind.
- One post noted the rice portions are small, and preferred it that way.
3 more
- One post saw a one-drink-per-person rule for dinner on the menu, with non-alcoholic options allowed; a lunch visitor noted the rule didn't seem to apply at lunch.
- Two posts called it inexpensive, one describing it as cheap sushi omakase and the other as great value for 22,000 won.
- A solo diner wrote that it was their seventh visit and that they eat here almost every time they come to Seongsu.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
The address says ground floor, but no post describes the floor from experience.
Nobody wrote about steps at the entrance or wheelchair or pushchair access. That means we don't know, not that there's a problem.
No post says where the toilet is.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 6 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Branches with the same name exist in Konkuk, Gwanghwamun, Jamsil, Gangnam and elsewhere. Details from those posts (a 33,000-won dinner, parking validation, waiting rooms) are not about this branch and were not counted.
- No post about this branch gives the dinner price; the 22,000-won lunch price comes from two September 2026 posts.
- Opening hours appear in only one post, copied from a listing (weekdays 12:00-21:00, weekends 11:30-21:30). Check the slots on the booking page before going.
- The phone number (0507-1431-5420) appears only in one post's copied listing block; one post says they booked through Naver.
- No post describes queuing. People waited outside for their booked slot, but nobody wrote about whether walk-ins can wait for a seat.
- No post describes the walk from the station; '371 m from Seongsu Station exit 4' is from a copied listing.
- Who people came with varies across all five posts: alone, a former colleague, a boyfriend and a mother, one post each, while one post only says 'my companion'.
