A basement soba shop in a residential lane off Ttukseom-ro 9-gil in Seongsu, serving two soba dishes (gondre with perilla oil, and X.O bibim) plus nuruk-aged roast chicken thigh. Soba is 10,000 won on its own or 13,000 won as a set with one piece of chicken. You eat at a bar wrapped around an open kitchen. We read 5 posts dated 20 September to 2 October 2026, all from people who went; one disclosed sponsorship and two said they paid their own way.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Four of the five posts mentioned the open kitchen. One said seeing it made them feel more at ease while eating; the sponsored post said the seats face the kitchen, so there is something to watch while you wait. Three posts called the place clean.
  2. Seating is mostly at the bar. Two posts described only a bar or U-shaped counter; one said it is mostly counter seats but there is also a single four-person table.
  3. Of the four posts that had the chicken thigh, three remarked on the juices — one said they pooled on the plate. One post said it had no gamey smell at all.
  4. One sponsored post said you can book through Naver. The phone number 0507-1307-1954 appears in the info blocks of two posts.

Getting inside

In a basement2 of 5 posts
Toilet inside1 of 5 posts
Separate restroomsyes 0 · no 1 (of 5 posts read)

It is below ground. Two posts described going down to the basement level; one said you come round the left side of the building and down a short flight of stairs.

No one wrote about a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. One post mentions a few stairs down to the basement entrance; none mention a lift.

Only one post covered the toilet: inside the shop, shared by men and women. Another post's 'toilet inside' line is copied listing info.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • No post reports waiting. Two said they walked straight in, but one went for a late lunch and the other after the weekend lunch rush, so we don't know whether there is a queue at peak time.
  • One post said it is about a ten-minute walk from Seongsu Station exit 3; another's 'seven minutes on foot' is copied listing info. No post mentions buses.
  • Company doesn't cluster: one post went with a sister, one with a boyfriend, and the rest didn't say. Posts suggest it suits solo diners, but none says they went alone.
  • Two posts give the hours as daily 12:00–17:00 (one adds last order at 16:30); one says weekdays 12:00–17:00 and one says 11:30–16:30. All come from info blocks. One post noted there is no dinner service, so it doesn't work after office hours.
  • Prices were consistent across the Sept–Oct 2026 posts: 10,000 won single, 13,000 won set. With only five posts over two weeks, we don't know prices outside that window. One post was handed a set-upgrade coupon on the way out.
  • One of the five posts was sponsored. Another said the space used to be a wine bar before a renovation; that is hearsay from before our posts and we could not confirm it. The 'Michelin-trained chef' and 'Gangwon ingredients' lines repeat the shop's own billing.
