Mugeunbon is a cocktail bar tucked inside the ground floor of a small arcade on Seongsuil-ro 8-gil, near exit 1 of Seongsu Station. The menu names are jokes, and while you drink the staff sing, read out notes from guests and run games like name-that-tune and bingo. Cocktails were listed at 10,000–12,000 won; one group of three paid 46,000 won for three cocktails and a snack, a pair paid the same for two cocktails and crackers. Most people came as a second or third stop after dinner. We read 28 posts from December 2025 to September 2026; 20 describe an actual visit. Opening hours appear to have changed around summer 2026 (see below).

What sets it apart
- The staff sing. Six of the 20 visit posts say the owner or staff sang for the room, one in masked-singer costume. Others describe guests writing stories or 'ideal type' notes into a postbox for a radio-style read-out, and name-that-tune or Korean-film bingo games with prizes such as walnut cakes or a free snack. Four posts say they were handed a parting drink on the way out.
- No two seats match. Nine posts describe the seating: a bar counter at the front, tables and group seating further in, a sofa, a pink Hello Kitty chair — and the piano, which four posts mention sitting at. One post advises sitting at the bar near the owner rather than in the back, where you see less of the show.
- Sometimes there is a wait. Two posts waited: one for 30 minutes with about ten people ahead (June 2026), another saw a queue form right behind them (December 2025). Two posts walked straight in — on a Sunday night, and as the last table — and one said there seems to be a wait at times but not when they went. Two posts mention chairs outside for waiting. A post that gave up on a Saturday 9pm queue is about the bar next door, so we did not count it.
- Eight posts went with friends, two with a partner, one with a sibling. Many were pairs or trios of women; one post noted mostly women guests at 8pm on a Friday, another that four groups in a row were all two women.

No one wrote about a step at the entrance or wheelchair or pushchair access. Two posts say the bar is on the ground floor inside the arcade, and the toilets are one floor up. This means we don't know, not that there is no access.
The toilets are outside the bar: two posts say you leave and go up to the building's first floor (second floor, Korean count), where there are separate men's and women's toilets; one adds that no key or code is needed.

What we do not know
- This is not a quiet bar. One post said it was too loud to talk and concluded it was hard going for an introvert; another found having their note read aloud embarrassing.
- The building is old. One post said it does not feel neat and suits people who prefer vintage to tidy; no post called it clean.
- Prices vary slightly between posts. The random house cocktail was 12,000 won in an April 2026 post and 10,000 won in a June one; the Midori sour and Peach & Crush were 12,000 won and the nacho snack 10,000 won. One post called a cocktail expensive, one called the bar good value — and that post spent over 100,000 won.
- Opening hours seem to have changed. Four posts from December 2025 to May 2026 give 7pm opening Tuesday–Thursday and 5pm Friday–Sunday, closing at 1am, closed Mondays. Three posts from July 2026 give 6pm to 1am, two of them every day with last orders at 12:30am. Whether the Monday closure ended is not confirmed. Most of these are copied info blocks.
