Mibundang

미분당 Mibun is the Sino-Korean word for rice flour or rice noodles, and dang means a hall or house.

Compiled from 5 blog posts read in fullSources →

This is the Seongsu branch of the Mibundang rice-noodle chain, in the Haus D Sejong Tower near exit 3 of Seongsu Station. You order and pay at a kiosk by the door, then eat at bar-style seats in a quiet room. The two posts that gave prices paid 13,000 won for the brisket, flank and tendon pho. We read 26 posts dated June to October 2026; six of them describe eating at this branch. The other 20 were about other Mibundang branches (Sinchon, Yeouido, Bucheon, Guri and more) or other restaurants, so we left them out.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Ordering happens before you sit down: four posts describe paying at a kiosk at the entrance first. One says her number was called about five minutes after she took a seat.
  2. Five of the six visits say the bowl is large — one calls it huge, another says it was so generous she never got to the free refill. All four posts that mention extra noodles skipped them.
  3. Seating is at a counter: two posts say the room is laid out as bar seats, while a third says only that counter seats are the main type, so we cannot say whether any tables exist. One post was a solo meal, and two describe the room as quiet.
  4. One post came with a young child. She fished the child's noodles out right away because chili sits on top of the broth, found the stools too high for a small child, and said keeping a child quiet in such a hushed room was hard. Nobody mentioned high chairs.

Getting inside

No post describes which floor the shop is on or any stairs; the only clue is "1st floor" in the copied address.

Nobody wrote about a step at the door or wheelchair or stroller access — that means unrecorded, not absent. One post notes the stools are high.

No post says whether the restroom is inside the shop or separated by gender.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • Waiting is split one to one: one post says there was a bit of a queue, another that arrived around 6 p.m. walked straight in. Nobody recorded how long the wait was.
  • Only two posts say who they came with — one alone, one with family. None mention friends or a date; the rest do not say.
  • Three posts give the same opening hours, 11:00 to 21:00 daily, and two add a 15:00-17:00 break and 20:30 last order. All three are copied listings rather than times anyone checked.
  • Only two of the six posts give prices: 13,000 won for the brisket, flank and tendon pho (both posts) and 14,000 won for tendon pho (one). Nobody priced the flank or brisket-and-flank bowls or the spring rolls, so we cannot say more about what a meal costs.
  • Only one post lists a phone number (0507-1411-2891). Nobody says whether the shop takes reservations.
