Menchuru Seongsu is a ramen shop at 103 Gyeonghyeop Hall on Seongsui-ro 20-gil, by exit 3 of Seongsu Station — one branch of a multi-branch chain. It serves shoyu ramen (11,000 won), tori paitan (12,000), motsu ramen with beef tripe (15,000), plus aburasoba, tsukemen, hormone-don and sides like karaage and fried gyoza. Nine posts describe the system: order at the kiosk by the door, then wait outside until your receipt number is called. We read 30 posts from 5 September to 5 October 2026; 8 were about other Menchuru branches or only name-checked this one, leaving 22 about this shop, 20 of them from people who ate here.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Expect to wait at mealtimes. Nine posts report a queue, with waits of 5–10, 10, 20 and 30 minutes; one says it took longer than expected and there was no remote waitlist, so they stood out front. One post walked straight in on a Sunday evening; another arrived at 10:50, was first in at the 11:00 opening, and watched it fill right after. One post mentions small chairs and drinking water outside.
- There are both counter seats and tables — seven posts say so, two listing one-, two- and four-person seating. Size is disputed: two posts call it spacious, three call it small. Two posts mention a wall notice asking diners to take their conversation to a café after eating because the room is tight.
- Several dishes are spicy and you choose the level. Seven posts mention heat; two put motsu ramen at level 1 on a par with Shin Ramyun, and one found even the default aburasoba slightly spicy.
- Four posts note the open kitchen. Three of them list the same points in nearly the same order — wood interior, paper cups and wet wipes, adjustable saltiness, free rice — which looks like the shop's own notice being copied.
1 more
- A bowl runs 11,000–15,000 won, and six posts say rice is free. Four posts call the prices fair and none call them expensive. One couple paid 46,000 won for two ramen, karaage and two draft beers.

Only one post speaks from experience: the spaces out front are not for the shop's customers. Two more list 'no parking' in info blocks, and one points to the nearby Hyundai Terrace Tower car park.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
4 posts say it is walkable from the station.
Getting inside
No post says which floor the shop is on or whether there are steps; the address reads unit 103, but nobody described it.
Nobody wrote from experience about a step at the door or wheelchair or stroller access. One post's 'wheelchair-accessible toilet' line was copied from the listing, so we don't rely on it.
No post says whether the toilet is inside the shop; 'separate men's and women's toilets' appears only in one copied listing block.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 22 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Many posts call it good for solo dining, but none says the writer went alone. Six went with friends and five with a partner or spouse.
- Eleven posts give opening hours: ten say 11:00–21:30 with last order at 21:00, one says closing at 20:30 with last order at 20:00, and one post gives 21:15/20:45 in its header but 21:30/21:00 in its text. Three posts say there is no afternoon break.
- Five posts give the same phone number, 0507-1345-9465, but nobody booked by phone. Naver booking is mentioned once in a copied block and once in passing; neither writer actually used it.
- Menchuru has many branches (Sinsa, City Hall, Children's Grand Park, Sinchon, Cheonho, Yeouido and more). We left the seven posts about other branches out of these counts.
