A sizzling-plate steak house on the ground floor of the Seoul Forest Halla Sigma Valley building, about a seven-minute walk from Seongsu Station exit 3. You pay at a kiosk by the door, sit down, and the steak arrives rare on a hot iron plate with rice, corn and sauce, to be finished at the table. The 225 g Macho ribeye is 33,900 won and the two-slab 1-pound Choo Sung-hoon steak 58,900 won, with no price change recorded between November 2025 and October 2026. What sets it apart
- Nobody takes your order at the table: nine posts paid at the kiosk by the entrance first and were then shown to a seat. One post found the kiosk spot cramped, right in the doorway where incoming guests collide. Four posts say the rule is one main per person.
- Rice and corn are topped up free — eight posts say so; one post notes an extra sauce costs 1,500 won. You choose small, medium or large rice when ordering, and five posts called the portions big, two of them saying even medium or small was plenty.
- Eight posts found the sauce salty. You choose between the sweet Macho sauce and the salty Ribera sauce; one writer said the salty one made their jaw tingle, several advise taking the sweet one, and some say it works once you eat it with rice.

What we do not know
- Waits vary. Three posts waited: 8 minutes at a full house at 12:30 on an August 2026 weekday, five parties and an estimated 30 minutes in October, and one who used CatchTable's remote queue. Two walked straight in (a Sunday at 5 p.m. in April, and October). One weekend visitor got in at once but saw it fill up after 7 p.m., and recalled a real queue in winter 2025.
- No post was written by someone dining alone. Several noted bar seats, single seats and plenty of solo diners, but that is observation. Companions recorded: a partner in three posts, family in two, a friend in one.
- Thirteen posts give the same hours, 11:30–21:00 with last order at 20:30, but nearly all copied them. A 15:00–16:00 break appears only in posts from November 2025 and April 2026 and not after August; one post notes the platforms disagree.
- Whether it is expensive is split: one post called it a lot for a weekday lunch, two said it was not expensive, two hedged. Recorded bills: 70,800 won for a ribeye and tenderloin for two, and 62,400 won for one person's 1-pound steak with curry sauce.
- Three posts warn the sizzling plate smokes and leaves your clothes smelling of meat, and several insist on wearing the apron provided.
