A yellow-fronted cafe on the ground floor of Gwangnaru-ro 4-gil 9, down a residential lane north of Seongsu Station exit 1. It serves coffee, milk tea and cookies and banana bread baked on site. Posts from March 2026 list an americano at 4,800 won and the signature MAAT einspänner at 7,000 won; posts up to August 2025 had the americano at 4,500 won. Five posts dropped in while waiting for a table at Marione, the wood-fired pizza place nearby. We read 30 posts dated 21 February 2025 to 30 September 2026; two were about other places (a Pohang food diary and the MAAT museum in Lisbon) and were set aside, and 23 describe an actual visit.

What sets it apart

No visitor wrote about which floor it is on; the address says ground floor, and nobody mentions a basement or upstairs seating. That is silence, not confirmation.

- Posts disagree on size: five call it small, two found it roomier than it looks from outside. It runs long and narrow; one post counted five two-person tables plus two window seats for two.
- Prices have gone up. Three posts from May to August 2025 list the americano at 4,500 won; posts from March 2026 list 4,800 won, and the vanilla bean latte went from 5,500 to 5,800 won. We only know the change fell between August 2025 and March 2026.
- Opening hours differ from post to post: daily 8am–7pm (March 2026); weekdays 8am–6pm or 7pm and weekends 10am–7pm (February 2026); 9am–7pm, closed Sundays (October 2025); Monday–Saturday 9am–7pm and Sunday 9am–6pm (June 2025). Most are copied info blocks, so check before going.
