KORETSU LIVE
코레츠 라이브 Korecheu Raibeu One post writes Koretsu as 皓烈 (the characters mean 'bright' and 'fierce'); 'Live' points to the counter where the chefs cook in front of you. Until July 2026 the place was called Negi Live.

Koretsu Live is a snow-crab and king-crab tasting counter on the fifth floor of the Musinsa building at 97 Seongsu-iro, Seongsu-dong. Chefs grill and pick the crab in front of you, then carry it through grilling, a yanagawa-style egg broth, frying and pot rice. Lunch is listed at 150,000 won per person; dinner at 290,000 won (snow crab) or 380,000 won (king crab). The place changed its name from Negi Live on 1 July 2026 without moving or changing chef, so we read older Negi Live visits as the same restaurant. We read 30 posts dated 30 June to 6 October 2026; 23 of them describe an actual visit.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.
What sets it apart
- Cooking in front of you is the point. Sixteen posts watched the chefs break down, grill and pick the crab at the counter, and nine describe the seating as a bar facing the kitchen. Seat counts differ: two posts say eight, one each says nine, ten and 'about eleven or twelve'. Four posts say seats are not assigned — first to arrive picks — and some arrived ten or fifteen minutes early to get the middle.
- Getting a booking is the hard part. Nineteen posts talk about reserving, nearly all through CatchTable, and several got in only through cancellation alerts — two days or three days before. Three posts say that after the meal staff hand over a business card and tell you to book by phone next time. Seven posts list the number, 02-466-2490.
- Dinner requires drinks. Five posts say ordering alcohol is mandatory, and one dinner post says a bottle is required. Lunch is disputed: two posts say drinks are optional at lunch and one ate lunch without any, but one September 2026 post says drinks were required at lunch too. One post says corkage is possible but not whether it is free.
- Ten posts mention the floor-to-ceiling windows looking over Seongsu's streets — good daylight at lunch, and one dinner post watched the sunset. Three say warm tea is poured as you sit down.
2 more
- Nine posts say they left full. Many note that more pot rice is given on request, and several got a second scoop of ice cream. Only one post found the grilled-crab portion small compared with eating crab at home.
- Eight posts call the staff kind, citing explanations at every plate, crab picked clean for you, coats and bags taken at the door, and a candle in the dessert when told it was a birthday. Three visitors note that chef Jang Ho-jun himself was not there that day.

Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 6 (of 23 posts read) |
|---|---|
| Lift to the floor | 6 of 23 posts |
| Toilet inside | yes 0 · no 1 (of 23 posts read) |
Six posts took the lift to the fifth floor. It is a Musinsa retail building; the lift is by the car park and the store's side door, and some got lost. On five, skip the café right by the lift and go left; four posts note the door opens with a button that blends into the wall.
No one wrote about a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller — that means unknown, not absent. Many posts describe bar seating, but none says how high the chairs are.
Only one post mentions the toilet: a queue by the lift turned out to be for the restroom, which suggests a shared one outside the restaurant. No one says whether it is separated by gender or how big it is.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 29 posts we gathered, 6 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Opinions on price split: five posts call it expensive, three say it was worth it, one does not decide. The dinner snow-crab course went up — an October 2025 diner paid 270,000 won per person; 2026 posts list 290,000 won. Lunch has stayed at 150,000 won from a winter 2025 visit through September 2026. All are per-person course prices; drinks are extra.
- The name changed: Negi Live became Koretsu Live on 1 July 2026, and July–August visitors still saw 'NEGI LIVE' signage around. Visits from April and October 2025 and that winter were written under the old name. The address did not change.
- Two posts place it close to Exit 3 of Seongsu Station; the walking times ('2 minutes', '76 m') come from copied info blocks. No one came by bus, though one notes the bus stop named in the CatchTable listing is right in front of the building.
- No one queued at the door; it is reservation-only, so the waiting happens on the booking list — one post failed in May and got in the next time when a slot freed three days ahead. Nobody complained of slow service; two posts say courses are paced to how fast you eat.
- Three posts list it as no-kids, all from copied info; one specifies fifth grade and up. No post describes going with a child.
- All opening hours are copied. Six posts give the same: Monday–Saturday 12:00–22:00 with a break 14:00–19:00, closed Sunday. Two say dinner runs to 2 a.m., and one lists the same hours 'daily' with no closing day; nine of the ten posts with hours say closed Sunday.
- Some posts follow a common template: two Hyundai Card Gourmet Week listings, two summaries of the same YouTube video, and two copying TV rankings or recipes. None are visits, so we did not count them.
