CACHI
까치화방 Kkachi Hwabang Kkachi is the magpie, the Korean bird that brings good news, and hwabang reads as a flower room — the café keeps a flower shop inside.

Kkachi Hwabang Seongsu Nakknak is a café on the ground floor of building B at SK V1 Center in Seongsu-dong (48 Achasan-ro 17-gil), with a florist inside. People go for seasonal fruit bingsu and cakes: bingsu runs 22,000–30,000 won, a mini fig cream-cheese cake 33,000 won, an americano 4,800 won. Many posts describe a small indoor garden at the centre — a real pine tree over gravel and stepping stones. You order and pick up at the counter. We read 30 posts dated 7 August to 5 October 2026. Three were about other branches (Magok, Gangnam Station) or another shop and were set aside, and three were lists or introductions rather than visits, leaving 24 visits.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- People take cake home: 14 of the 24 visits packed a cake or leftovers to go. The green insulated bag comes up again and again; one writer carried it for over three hours and found the figs undisturbed. Two posts reserved a whole cake ahead and picked it up.
- The bingsu is big. All eight posts that mention portion say so — good for two, even two or three. One writer was too full after the bingsu to eat the cake there and took it home.
- Nobody wrote about waiting. The four posts that mention it all say there was no line, one adding that on a rainy day they took the window seat they wanted. One post found it fairly full at 2 p.m. on a weekday. Two posts say the bingsu took a while to arrive.
- The windows are large: eight posts mention floor-to-ceiling glass or window seats. The seven that describe seating list two- and four-person tables, green sofas and long communal tables; one mentions a ten-seat green marble table by the entrance. Two saw outdoor tables. Three posts note walking straight in at ground level.

- Four posts went with children and several with family; one says children were no trouble there. Nobody mentions high chairs or changing tables.

Parking

Four posts parked and all found it easy (two say they drove). The rules are copied rather than observed: building B's basement garage, 30 minutes free, an hour free with 15,000 won spent, then 1,000 won per 10 minutes.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station

Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 3 (of 24 posts read) |
|---|---|
| Toilet inside | yes 0 · no 1 (of 24 posts read) |
| Separate restrooms | 1 of 24 posts |
No post describes the entrance step or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. One copied the listing's 'wheelchair accessible' line, which we don't count. That means nobody wrote about it, not that it's inaccessible.
One post says the restroom is outside the shop — out the back door by the counter and to the right — and separated by sex. One other says only that it is inside the building.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 27 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Five posts call it walkable from the subway. It sits between Seongsu, Konkuk Univ. and Children's Grand Park stations; one post puts the walk at about 15 minutes. Several note it is a little away from the main Seongsu café strip.
- Sweetness splits: seven posts found things sweet and four found them not very sweet, sometimes about the same fig cake.
- One post calls it a bit pricey; five say the price is fair or good value, and one accepts it after seeing the dish. A typical order is one bingsu (22,000–30,000 won) shared by two plus a drink each (4,800–6,200 won).
- The shop hasn't moved, but the menu turns with the seasons. August posts list peach (30,000 won), shine muscat and mango bingsu; from late September it is fig (28,000), tomato (21,000) and chestnut red bean (22,000). Early-to-mid September posts saw peach and fig side by side.
- Opening hours are only copied listings. Nineteen posts give them; the most common is weekdays 8:00–21:30, weekends 10:00–21:30, last order 21:00. Two say 9:00 on weekdays (one closing at 22:00) and two say 8:00 every day. One notes closure on major holidays.
- Nine posts give the same phone number, 02-466-1336. Many advise reserving whole cakes; two did, and one says orders close two days ahead. One writer arrived late and found most cakes sold out.
- Promotional posts are mixed in. One discloses sponsorship, one says the shop provided the food, two say they paid, and the rest say nothing. The same phrases — professional barista, pâtissier and florist; cleanliness and service carefully managed — recur in about ten posts, and three carry the same booking link. We did not count cleanliness or service claims that came from those phrases.
