CRESSONG

크레송 Keuresong Cresson is the French word for watercress; none of the posts say why the house took the name.

Compiled from 11 blog posts read in fullSources →

A small Western-style kitchen on the ground floor of the Lotte Castle Park apartment arcade near Seongsu Station. It serves pasta, risotto, panini and salad, opens at 8 a.m. with a panini-and-Americano morning set, and also sells coffee, madeleines and beer. In 2026 posts pasta runs 11,900 to 13,900 won and a panini 7,000 won. Several posts mention the yellow walls and sign and the clutter of small ornaments. We read 12 posts from February 2025 to August 2026; one was about another restaurant and was set aside, leaving 11 first-hand visits.

Rows without a count: 6 of 8 posts.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Of the nine posts that discuss price, eight say it is not expensive. A February 2025 post had a panini for 6,000 won, 6,500 with coffee; a November 2025 post notes dishes under 10,000 won. An August 2026 post found the prices fair but summed up with 'you get what you pay for'.
  2. The room is small. Three posts say it is not spacious, and those that counted tables give four four-tops and two two-tops, two or three of each, about five tables seating six, four or two, and six or seven tables.
  3. Two posts describe an open kitchen where you can watch the cooking from your seat; one adds that you sometimes see the pan flare up.
  4. Lunch fills the room. One post got the last table on a weekday lunch, one found all but two seats taken, and one arrived before noon and watched it fill at twelve. No post says it waited, and one says it never had to queue at lunch.
2 more
  1. A July 2026 post says the co-owner was on maternity leave until 31 July, leaving her husband alone and service somewhat slow but worth the wait; an August 2026 post also saw one young man running it. Earlier posts describe a couple working together.
  2. Two posts give walking directions: just inside the complex by Seongsu Station Exit 1, or five to ten minutes from Exits 1 and 2, entering the complex from the main road by I-Park. Several posts note it is tucked away at the back of the building.

Parking

1 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park1 of 11 posts

Parking is split. One post describes pressing the arcade car park barrier button yourself to get in; another guessed parking is hard and you would need a nearby office building. Other posts saying parking is available copied an info block, so we did not count them.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 2 (of 11 posts read)

Two posts say it is on the ground floor of the arcade; none mention a basement or upper floor.

No post says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or pushchair can get in. That means unknown, not absent.

No post says whether the toilet is inside the shop or shared in the arcade. One post copied 'separate men's and women's toilets' from an info block; another scored the toilet 3 out of 5 without saying where it is.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • Company does not cluster: one post came with spouse and child, one with a partner, one with a friend, and two with coworkers at lunch. One post noticed many local families with children.
  • Only one post commented on cleanliness: in August 2026 it noticed stains standing out against the bright yellow walls.
  • Eight posts give opening hours and they agree: weekdays 08:00-21:00, Saturday 08:00-20:00, closed Sunday, last order 20:10 on weekdays and 19:10 on Saturday. Four of them copied an info block, and one warns that Saturday hours are sometimes cut short.
  • Four posts list the same phone number, 02-465-3456. Reservations appear only in copied info blocks or hearsay; no post actually booked. Three posts took madeleines or an Americano to go.
