Cafe
CaféCité
카페씨떼 Kape Ssitte Cité is French for 'city' — the café bills itself as a rest stop for city travellers, and its signature drinks are named after cities (Seattle, Sapporo, London, Valencia).

CaféCité is a glass-walled dessert café at 71 Seongsuiro, on the shopping strip opposite Musinsa Seongsu; two writers say it is tied to the shoe brand Cueren. The main building, where you order, has a ground floor and a second floor, and three posts say you can also sit in the annex next door (the Tannery). You grab a seat first, then order at the ground-floor counter. An americano is 6,000 won (four posts), the signature Seongsu Brick Latte 8,500 won (two posts), and cakes run 9,500 to 10,500 won. There is a monthly drink and a seasonal dessert. We read 30 posts dated 15 June to 5 October 2026; 22 describe a visit. Five turned out to be about other shops, and three (the café's own blog and a listicle) were not counted.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- The glass is what drew people in: 12 of the 22 visit posts mention the floor-to-ceiling windows and daylight. One writer liked watching the Musinsa store and passers-by from a window seat; another went at night and said the lit interior looks different from outside. Five posts mention the high ceiling.
- Eight posts describe the planted front terrace — one counted more than six tables, and in summer there were beach-style loungers. It depends on the weather, though: one group had rain pour down ten minutes after sitting and ate under an umbrella, one couldn't use the terrace because of rain, and one found it too hot to sit outside.
- The building looks big, but no one called the seating comfortable. Four posts say the chairs are uncomfortable: benches with no backrest, seats so close you might bump heads with the person behind, low tables upstairs, seats that are neither roomy nor comfortable. Posts split 3 to 2 on whether the place is spacious — the two dissenters expected a big café and found few, tightly packed tables, one comparing a full main building to a chicken coop. One writer said there are too few sockets for laptop work.
- Five posts call it expensive and one says the price was fair. Four agree on 6,000 won for an americano, and one of those writers ordered the signature drink instead after seeing it. Several point to dessert size versus price: a 10,000-won cake smaller than a fist, a 5,500-won pound cake that was quite small. One felt an 8,500-won drink they disliked was money thrown away. The lone dissenter thought the latte was big enough to justify its price.

The registered address lists a basement level, but no post mentions going down there. That doesn't mean there isn't one — nobody wrote about it.
No post mentions an entrance step, ramp or lift, so we don't know whether it works for a wheelchair or pushchair. Stairs do come up: upstairs seating means carrying your drinks up after the buzzer goes (one writer nearly spilled a hot coffee), and annex customers have to collect drinks at the main counter and climb back to the third floor.
Two posts place a toilet inside, but describe it differently: one found separate men's and women's toilets on the main building's second floor, very clean; another, during the summer pop-up, found a single stall hidden behind a white wall by the stairs. We can't tell whether they mean the same toilet.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 23 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Air-conditioning reports split by building, not by date. Two posts from June and July 2026 found the annex's third floor well cooled; two from August said the main building's second floor wasn't cool enough, or that the glass walls kept it warm despite the AC. One writer found the ground floor very crowded and noisy; two posts in all call it loud.
- '312 m from Seongsu Station exit 3' is copied across several posts. Only one writer actually described the walk: out of exit 3 and straight south.
- Only one post, from August 2026, describes waiting: the café was full, staff managed a waitlist, and a seat opened after about ten minutes. Others call it packed, especially at weekends, without mentioning a queue. A September post's three-hour wait was for a different shop and isn't counted.
- Twelve posts give opening hours, nearly all copied: 10:00–22:00 daily in eleven, 10:00–21:00 in one; last order 21:20 in six, 21:30 in one. One copied block says it never closes. The house rules (one drink per person, no outside food, card only, pets on the terrace only) are also copied from the shop's sign, and we don't treat them as first-hand reports.
- Several posts copy the phone number 02-465-0811, but none says whether you can book.
- The menu rotates monthly: posts mention a London Fog Earl Grey cold brew in February 2026, a Seattle cold-brew shakerato in June, a Sapporo snow matcha latte in July, a peach oolong tart in August and a fig pavlova in September. A summer Granita Bar pop-up with Cueren ran from 10 July to 31 August and has ended. We didn't count the two descriptions on the café's own blog.
