A tonkatsu shop one floor below street level in a side alley off Yeonmujang-gil, a short walk from Seongsu Station exit 4. You pay at a kiosk before you go in, then eat at a small, mostly counter-seat room: tenderloin katsu (14,000 won), loin katsu (13,000 won), the Yeonga Special sampler (16,000 won), or a cold buckwheat noodle set. Three posts say rice, soup and cabbage are refilled. We read 30 posts from January to October 2026. We set aside 3 about other places (two about the Kondae branch, one about a cafe) and did not count 7 promotional write-ups with no record of a visit, which leaves 20 visit posts.

What sets it apart
- Expect to wait at lunch. Nine of the 20 visit posts waited; the two that walked straight in both came on a weekday after the lunch peak. One got a seat at noon on a Thursday and saw a queue form about ten minutes later; another arrived at 11:15 with two seats left and watched it fill soon after. The only stated waits are 15 minutes and one hour, and the one-hour post blamed slow turnover.
- Nine posts describe ordering and paying at a kiosk first. One May 2026 post said that once paid you could not give up on the wait, and with no turn alert they stood outside for an hour. Posts from July on mention a waiting machine at the entrance and a CatchTable waitlist, so a sign-up system seems to have arrived in between.
- Seating is mostly counter, but not entirely. Four posts mention tables too: about three side-by-side two-seaters, two three-seat rows along the window, two wall-facing tables. One post saw no tables but wasn't sure about the back. Three posts call the room small; one calls it roomy.
- Six posts got a free cheese katsu or curry with a coupon, handed out by staff outside or in the queue, or shown from Naver; one says the coupon version is two pieces.

Six posts note it is underground. One says you turn into the alley and go down a flight of stairs; another says the kiosk is at the bottom of the stairs, and they climbed back up to wait on chairs at street level.
No one says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in. Two posts mention going down stairs. An elevator is mentioned only in a templated promo post, which we don't count. That doesn't mean there isn't one, only that nobody reported using it.
No post says where the restroom is or whether it is separated by gender.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 27 posts we gathered, 7 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

What we do not know
- Eight posts list the same hours, 11:00 to 21:00 daily, five with last order at 20:30. All eight copied the Naver listing, though, and none mentions a closing day.
- Four posts found the prices reasonable; one felt it wasn't filling for what it cost. Prices for the same dish vary a little: loin with cheese is 13,500 won in a January 2026 post and 14,500 won in August; the Yeonga Special is 16,000 won in April and May posts and 15,500 won in one September post. With one post on each side, we can't tell whether prices changed. A meal runs 13,000 to 16,000 won as written.
- Portions split three to three: three posts left food or ate till stuffed, three found it just right or not enough. One noted four tenderloin pieces in the noodle set; another got six loin pieces in the large size.
- Waiting space is reported both ways: a 20 May 2026 post sat on chairs at street level, while a post five days later stood outside the door and found it hard going.
- Six posts give the phone number 0507-1326-0735, all from copied listings, and one gives a different number. No one mentions making a reservation; what posts describe is an on-site waitlist.
- Five write-ups posted between 27 May and 1 June 2026 come from one template: the shop's seven-point blurb, Naver review-keyword counts and an identical pre-visit checklist. Some claim a visit but name nothing eaten, so we didn't count them. The 200-hour aging and apple-wood smoking are the shop's own claims, repeated.
