Jojo Kalguksu Seongsu-jeom
조조칼국수 성수점 Kalguksu is knife-cut noodle soup; Jojo is the chain's name, which the posts do not explain, and Seongsu-jeom marks the Seongsu branch.

Jojo Kalguksu's Seongsu branch is a noodle house on Seongsuil-ro 8-gil, close to Seongsu Station. The menu has three items: dongjuk clam kalguksu (10,000 won per person), clam soup (12,000 won) and octopus-seafood pancake (15,000 won). Of the 16 posts from people who ate here, 13 ordered the kalguksu and 12 the pancake. One pair paid 35,000 won for two noodle soups and a pancake; another paid 37,000 won for all three dishes. We read 24 posts dated from 12 December 2025 to 5 October 2026. We set aside 6 because they were about other branches (City Hall, Apsan in Daegu) or another restaurant, did not count 2 that were write-ups without a visit, and counted 16 visits. That the chain started in Daegu is something posts repeated, not something they saw.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Expect a queue. Twelve of the 16 visit posts mention waiting. The times they give are 10 minutes, another 10 to 15 minutes after the CatchTable call, 25 minutes, 40 minutes, 40 minutes, an hour, and an hour and a half. One post drew number 22 at noon on a weekend; another found 13 parties ahead at 1 pm on a weekday. Seven posts joined the line remotely through CatchTable.
- Two posts describe a waiting area out front: one saw several chairs set out, the other said the waiting spot was air-conditioned, which helped on a hot day.
- Ten posts say many of the customers were foreign. One put it at about 80 percent; another said there were so many Japanese tourists it felt like a trip to Japan. One post was handed a menu in Korean, English and Chinese.
- Five posts call the dining room large. One guessed it seats more than 100; another said the size kept the line moving.
2 more
- Four posts call something spicy, and three of them mean the kimchi, which one likened to fiery silbi-style kimchi. One post said the kalguksu itself had enough kick to be a burden for people who avoid heat.
- Two posts got more kimchi. One explained that side dishes are not self-serve: you ask and staff bring more.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
2 posts say it is walkable from the station.
Getting inside
No post described which floor the restaurant is on from experience; the address simply says ground floor.
Nobody wrote about a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. That means we don't know, not that there is none.
No post said whether the restroom is inside or whether it is separated by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 17 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Cleanliness is split. Two posts found the room tidy; one said dishes and even the makgeolli bottle came out with chili flakes and stains not washed off.
- Portions split one to one: one post found the noodles filling, another said two portions alone would leave two people hungry.
- Six posts give the hours as 10:00 to 21:30 daily and five give a 21:00 last order, but all are copied info lines. Only two mention a 16:00 to 17:00 break, one of them from a notice on the door. The other four leave the break out, and we can't tell whether that means there is none.
- Three posts list the phone number as 0507-1472-4334 and one as 02-468-4333. No post says the restaurant takes reservations; what posts called booking was CatchTable's remote waitlist.
- Posts describe the spice choice differently: plain, mild or spicy; leaving out or adding green chili; one level set for the whole order; and one post noticed the option on the menu but was never asked about it as a Korean customer. A September 2026 post said the split was recent, but we can't date when it started.
- The free drink after 5 pm comes from the menu board and a write-up; no post recorded actually getting one.
