Jamsugyojip
잠수교집 Jamsugyo is the name of Seoul's low 'submersible bridge' over the Han River, and jip means house — the Jamsugyo house.

Jamsugyojip's Seongsu branch is a frozen-pork-belly house on the ground floor of 137 Achasan-ro, three to five minutes' walk from Seongsu Station exit 2. The signature is flash-frozen pork belly at 16,000 won per 150 g; a silver tray of scallion salad, kimchi, rolled omelet, garlic and lettuce arrives at once, and much of it goes onto the grill with the meat. Fourteen posts ordered the frozen belly, eleven finished with kimchi fried rice (5,000 won) and seven had the country-style soybean stew (9,500 won). Pairs report paying 55,500 and 60,000 won for two to four portions of meat plus stew or rice. We read 23 posts dated 11 September to 5 October 2026; 20 describe eating here. One was about the Jamsil branch and was set aside, and two only introduce the place. Two of the 20 are pairs written by the same person about the same meal, so they cover 18 actual visits.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Expect to wait in the evening. Nine posts waited: about ten groups ahead at 7 pm on a Friday, six groups and 40 minutes before 7 on a weekday, 20 minutes on another day, a short stand at 6:30 on a weekday. One saw a line at 6 pm on a weekend and a full board by the time they left. Two posts walked straight in, late in the evening and after a date. The writer who waited 40 minutes says there were empty tables they weren't seated at.
- You write your name and party size by hand on a board out front. Five posts mention chairs inside a tented waiting area, one noting the plastic sheeting makes it usable in summer and winter. One post says you lose your turn if you're not there when called; another wished for an app-based queue so they could wait at a café instead.
- Staff set the first pan. Fifteen posts describe it: meat laid on a foil-lined square grill with scallion salad, kimchi, rolled omelet, garlic and bean sprouts around it, then a shake of ground pepper. After that, the cooking is up to you. One writer felt the foil kept the meat from searing the way they like.
- Side dishes are refilled. Seven posts mention it, some having asked for more rolled omelet or scallion salad, with one adding the condition that you don't leave food behind.
2 more
- Walk from Seongsu Station exit 2. Nine posts describe the walk as three or five minutes, or about 300 m, straight toward the Seongsu intersection to a green sign and striped awning; one adds that a bus stop is close.
- Three posts noticed many foreign diners, one specifically Chinese tourists.

Parking is unclear. Two posts parked: one in the building's lot, one saw room for about three cars out front. Copied info blocks variously say two or three spaces, small lot, or no parking.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 1 (of 18 posts read) |
|---|
No post says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in — that means nobody wrote about it, not that there's a problem. One post confirms it's at street level on the ground floor.
No post describes using the toilet. One repeats being told it's half a floor up, to the left of the entrance; another's copied info block says it's outside and unisex. We don't count either.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 20 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Opinions on price split two to two: two posts call it pricey, two call it reasonable, and one of the latter went on a free voucher. One more says it isn't especially cheap for frozen pork.
- The three posts that call portions big are all talking about the soybean stew. On the meat, one writer said two portions vanished like 0.8 of one.
- Three posts found the staff friendly; one found the part-timers idle on their phones while people waited outside.
- Twelve posts give the same opening hours, 11:30 to 4:30 the next morning, eight with last orders at 3:20 — all copied from info blocks or Naver. Two say it never closes, two say it closes on Chuseok/holiday days. Only a post from someone who didn't visit gives 23:00.
- Booking rules differ: one post says parties of four or more can reserve, another just advises groups to book, and copied info says reservations start at 30 people. Four posts list the same phone number, 0507-1326-0434.
- Claims like 'first-grade pork slaughtered the same day', 'every branch company-run' and the TV and celebrity mentions are the shop's own signage or hearsay, and we don't rely on them. Two posts saw origin labels posted in the dining room. One post discloses the meal was provided, one went on a voucher, one says they paid; the rest don't say.
