Korean

Ilsangdammi Seongsu

일상담미 성수점 Ilsang means 'everyday'; the posts do not explain the second half, dammi, though one blogger reads the whole name as 'capturing the everyday'.

Compiled from 24 blog posts read in fullSources →

A Korean set-meal restaurant on the sixth floor of the WiZ-L building on Ttukseom-ro 13-gil, five to eight minutes' walk from Seongsu Station exit 3. The core is a one-person bansang: one main with rice, soup and side dishes. A June 2026 copy of the lunch menu shows sets at 19,000 and 29,000 won and sharing dishes at 19,000–39,000 won; posts say dinner prices the same sets higher and adds dessert. The most ordered dishes are braised back ribs with kimchi (11 posts) and beef tartare bibimbap (6). Seven posts give the phone number 0507-1358-8471. We read 30 posts from November 2025 to October 2026; 25 describe a visit, 2 were about other restaurants in the same building and set aside, and 3 only mention the place in a list or diary.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Seven posts mention the window seats. Being on the sixth floor, the full-height glass opens the view; one post found its table laid by the window after booking, another was seated in winter sun on Christmas Day. One found the room a bit dark overall but liked the window side.
  2. Eleven posts say they booked ahead. One notes Naver bookings cap at six people but the restaurant will raise the number if you call; groups of ten and eight went. Two posts walked in without booking — one at 2:30 pm, one at lunch — and were seated straight away. One post found it 'mostly full' at 7 pm on a December evening.
  3. Six posts call it quiet — good for a business lunch with foreign partners or a team of eight. One adds there are no private rooms, so some noise is possible, but it is never rowdy. Four posts say the tables are well spaced.
  4. Seven posts found the portions generous — tartare that spread further than expected, three ribs in the kimchi braise, food left over. One called it just enough for a light eater; one found the side dishes small and one said the rice ran short for a father.

  1. Four posts say the seasoning is not heavy and four say it is not spicy — 'even the doenjang soup wasn't salty'. Several chose it for foreign guests or a grandmother. The no-MSG claim comes from the restaurant itself, so we did not count it.

Posts saying you can park1 of 24 posts

Only one post describes parking first-hand: they drove for a grandmother with limited mobility; valet parking at the door costs extra and is covered for only 90 minutes. Three posts say they came by car. The 'parking available', '4,000-won valet' and '90 minutes free' lines in seven other posts are copied and not counted.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 12 (of 24 posts read)
Lift to the floor6 of 24 posts

Six posts say you take the lift and step out straight into the restaurant on the sixth floor. One warns to use the open door, not the stairs on the left of the entrance; one waited a long time for the lift and another found it a little inconvenient. Twelve posts state the sixth-floor location in their own words.

No post says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or pushchair got in. We only know the lift opens straight into the restaurant. That is a gap in what we read, not evidence either way.

No post says whether the toilet is inside the restaurant. One post found it clean; the separate men's and women's toilets appear only in two copied information blocks.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 27 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Five posts found it expensive — 'a bit wicked' on price, 'why pay this much here?' — and one liked the food but not the value. One post says the parents thought it rare to get this much for the money; three gave no verdict. Lunch and dinner prices differ for the same set (bibimbap set 19,000 won at lunch, 29,000 at dinner), so check which meal a quoted price is for. One receipt shows 86,000 won for dinner for two.
  • Ten posts give opening hours, all copied from information blocks. Nine say 11:30–22:00 daily, one says 11:00. The break is 15:00–17:30 in eight and 15:00–17:00 in two. No post mentions a closing day. One copies a note that on weekends and holidays the dinner menu starts with 17:30 seating.
  • Two posts from September–October 2026 end with the same eight hashtags in the same order and repeat the same family-gathering phrasing; three mid-December 2025 posts push the same 'Seongsu team dinner' angle. None discloses sponsorship, but these may be commissioned. Five posts say they paid themselves.
