Bakery
Ilhoppang
일호빵 Il-ho means 'number one' and ppang means bread; the bakery also gives this name to its signature loaf.

Ilhoppang is a small sourdough bakery on Dulle 15-gil in Seongsu-dong 2-ga, on the way to Ttukseom Hangang Park. We read 17 posts from August 2025 to September 2026; 14 describe going there and buying bread. It comes across as a shop you buy from and leave, not one you sit down in. Prices in the posts run from 2,500 won for a salt bread to 8,800 won for a fig-and-cranberry campagne. The no-sugar, no-butter, no-additives line is the shop's own claim, repeated by bloggers.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.
What sets it apart
- The owner tells you how to eat the bread. Six posts call the owner kind, and they give concrete reasons. One was told to freeze the campagne and reheat it in a frying pan, and to microwave the sausage bread with a cup of water beside it. Another was asked whether they wanted their loaf sliced. A third bought everything left on the shelf and got extra bread thrown in.
- People go back. Five posts describe more than one visit: one has been coming since a pregnancy, another returned a month later, and another says the owner treats them as a regular.
- The loaves are big. One blogger, writing in two posts, went in for a snack to take on a run by the river and found everything heavy and large, so picked the smallest sausage bread.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
1 posts say it is walkable from the station.
Getting inside
No post describes which floor the shop is on from experience; only the address says ground floor.
No one mentions a step at the door or getting in with a stroller or wheelchair. That means we don't know, not that there is no access.
No one mentions a restroom; as a takeout bakery, visitors may simply not have needed one.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 15 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- No post mentions queuing. Instead, four posts say the bread runs out early: plenty sold out after 4 p.m. on a weekday, the olive-cheese batard gone by about 1 p.m., most of the shelf empty at three or four, and sold out every time after work. One post says some breads can only be had by reserving.
- Only one post addresses seating, calling it a takeout-only shop. Another says the shop is cramped and a sign asks that dogs wait outside the door. One blogger ate their bread on a bench by the Han River.
- All the opening hours are copied from shop listings, and the closing time seems to have moved. Posts from August 2025 and March 2026 give 10:00-18:00; posts from April and July 2026 give 10:00-17:00. Five posts agree that it closes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. One blogger turned up on a closed day.
- One post arrived by public transport: bus 2413 to the depot stop, with the bakery right in front. No one describes the walk from a subway station.
- The only posts that say who came along are three that went with family (a husband, a sibling, a child). None mentions going with friends.
- No post calls the prices high or low. Listed prices: salt bread 2,500 won, jalapeño sausage 2,800, Ilhoppang 4,500, chocolate bread 6,600, mixed-grain campagne 7,000, sandwiches 8,000 and 9,000. Two posts bought through Luckymeal, an app that sells leftover bread cheap; one got 18,000 won worth for 8,900.
- Three posts give the phone number 02-6081-8882. One post repeats something it heard: that you can call to have chocolate bread set aside. We could not confirm this.
- The closing time appears to have moved from 6 p.m. to 5 p.m. between March and April 2026, so check the current hours with the shop before going.
