Haemil Kalguksu & Gimbap
해밀칼국수&김밥 Haemil is a coined native Korean word for the clear sky after the rain; the rest of the name simply says what the house sells, knife-cut noodle soup and gimbap.

A kalguksu-and-gimbap shop on the ground floor of the SKV1 Tower next to a GS25, about three minutes' walk from Seongsu Station exit 3. The meals are clam kalguksu (9,000 won), clam sujebi and a spicy clam sujebi; the house gimbap (5,000 won) is rolled in a wide sheet of omelette. You order at a kiosk and fetch kimchi and pickled radish from a self-service corner. Two posts say groups of three or more get a free roll of gimbap. We read 22 posts dated 6 January to 5 October 2026; 20 describe an actual visit, one was about another shop and was set aside, and one only introduced the place.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Ordering is by kiosk, as eight posts note. Kimchi, pickled radish and small plates are self-service, and one post saw signs everywhere asking people to take only as much kimchi as they will eat. Another explains that you collect gimbap yourself when your receipt number is called, the noodle soups are brought to the table, and there is no tray return, so you leave your dishes.
- The spicy squid gimbap really is hot. Five posts called something spicy, and four of those were about this roll, one likening it to something hotter than Shin Ramyun. The fifth found the spicy clam sujebi sharp. Three posts landed in between, saying there was heat but not much: two about the spicy sujebi, one calling the squid roll only slightly hot.
- There is a line at the height of lunch. Four posts met a wait and three did not. One sat straight down around 11:55 on a weekday but said the line starts at 12:10; one waited about five minutes on average on weekdays; one gave up at 1 p.m. because of the crowd and came back at 4 for takeout; one found a line forming as they left. Posts that came at 11:30, at 2 p.m. on a weekend, or at a weekend lunch walked straight in.
- Takeout works: six posts say so, and three of them only took gimbap to go. One notes the kiosk asks first whether you are eating in or taking out.
1 more
- Three posts ate here with a child; one says the toddler finished the clams, and another found the egg gimbap suited to children. Nobody mentioned whether there are high chairs.

Parking
2 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Parking is in the building's basement garage. Both posts that actually drove had their parking validated after the meal, one specifying an hour free if you ask on the way out. Two other posts mention parking only as copied information or a guess, so we did not count them.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 2 (of 18 posts read) |
|---|
No post says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller fits. That means we do not know, not that there is a problem. The one post that came with a stroller only bought takeout because it was crowded. Two posts confirm from their own visit that the shop is on the ground floor.
Nobody wrote about the toilet, whether it is inside the shop or separated by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 19 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Seat counts differ: one post says about 40, another counts seven four-person and two two-person tables, a third guesses about ten seats. Three posts found the room spacious; one thought the tables were a little close together.
- Ten posts list opening hours, all copied from listings. Most say Monday to Saturday 7:30 to 21:00, last order 20:30, closed Sundays; one says Saturdays open at 8:00, one gives 7:00, one says daily. One post splits it: gimbap from 7:30, the full menu including noodles from 10:00. One visitor did eat kalguksu early in the morning.
- Prices mostly agree: clam kalguksu 9,000 won, house gimbap 5,000 won, spicy clam sujebi 11,000 won. The plain clam sujebi is 10,000 won in two posts and 11,000 in one, and one post lists the squid and tuna rolls at 5,000 won where others say 6,000. One diner paid 30,000 won for a kalguksu, a sujebi and two rolls and could not decide if that was cheap; two called the prices kind.
- The phone number 010-9340-5909 appears in three posts, copied from listings. One post says the shop does not take reservations.
- Two posts say the shop used to be in a small Seongsu side street, near the Seongsu Catholic church by one account and near Trimage by the other. No post says when it moved, and every post we read is about the current address. One post also says there are two Haemil kalguksu shops in Seongsu; we do not know where the other one is.
