Geonneojip is a charcoal pork grill on Seongsu-iro, on the ground floor opposite the Daelim Changgo café, a short walk from Seongsu Station exit 3. It sells belly, neck, skirt, jowl and collar cuts; the meat is pre-grilled over charcoal in the kitchen and finished on the charcoal grill at your table. A 170 g plate of belly, neck or skirt is 16,000 won, and the three-cut 480 g half set is 47,000 won; many pairs ordered the half set with the shepherd's-purse doenjang stew (7,000 won) and turmeric rice. Almost every post lingers on the side dishes: perilla-oil white kimchi, laver to toast and wrap, pickled garlic-chive leaves. We read 30 posts from December 2025 to July 2026; after setting aside one post about another restaurant and one with no real record of a meal, we counted 28 visits.

What sets it apart
- Of the 28 visits, 22 say the meat arrives already pre-grilled, so it cooks quickly at the table. Seven say you can watch the pre-grilling from the dining room, one adding that seeing it made the place feel trustworthy, another that it is done behind a window. One post found the pre-grill only seared the outside so it still took a while, and another said the pre-grilling made the meat slow to arrive. The 'smoked over organic rice husks' line is the restaurant's own claim, repeated by posts, and we do not rely on it.
- Who does the grilling varies. Six posts say staff grilled for them, three grilled themselves, and one says staff started but then left them to it. One post was told that when the place is busy you grill yourself, and staff only grilled for them because it was quiet — so expect to cook your own at peak times.
- Waiting depends on the hour. Five posts waited and seven walked straight in. One waited about 30 minutes behind three groups at 7 pm on a Friday; one waited outside on a weekend evening until called; one arrived on a 6 pm booking and saw a queue form when it filled at 6:30. Those who walked in went at 5:30 on a weekday, around 5 on a weekend, early in the evening, or late on a Saturday night. Two posts mention seats or space to wait.
- Eleven posts say you order by scanning a QR code at the table. One warns that a few prices on the QR menu differ from the paper menu — the boksosa cocktail was 10,900 won on the QR menu. Another notes some dishes, such as the cheese kimchi fried rice and the extra-spicy jjapaghetti, appear only on the QR menu.

No post says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in — that means we don't know, not that it can't. One post notes from experience that it is on the ground floor.
The toilet is outside the restaurant. The two posts that mention it place it differently — one on the building's second floor, the other in the building next door — and both say it has a door code. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in one post's copied info block, so we did not count it.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 28 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Booking accounts conflict. Two posts arrived on a 6 pm reservation, but one December 2025 post says it was walk-in only and they waited outside. Several copied info blocks say Naver booking is available. Check by phone (02-497-7777) or on Naver before you go.
- All six posts that call something spicy mean the sides, not the meat: the kimchi stew, the shepherd's-purse doenjang stew (one found it too hot), and the extra-spicy jjapaghetti.
- Most posts give opening hours as 11:00–23:00 daily with last orders at 22:00, but nearly all of it is copied. Six posts from December 2025 list a 15:00–16:00 break; posts from January 2026 on show no break, one saying it runs straight through. Three posts from January–February 2026 say a banner out front advertised opening until 1 am, and one post says it closes at 22:00.
- Prices mostly agree across posts, but the full 640 g set is 62,000 won in two posts and 64,000 won in one. Several posts from January–February 2026 mention a New Year deal of 1,900-won soju Monday to Thursday. Four posts call the prices reasonable; none call them expensive.
- Of the 28 visits, four disclose sponsorship, one was a reviewer-program meal, two say they paid themselves, and 21 say nothing. Five posts from December 2025 to February 2026 end with the identical string of hashtags in the same order, and two of those disclose sponsorship; two others copy the same info block word for word. A fair share of these posts look like one campaign, so read them with that in mind.
