Compiled from 7 blog posts read in fullSources →

An old-style bossam and kalguksu house in the back-alley lunch strip north of Seongsu Station. At lunch people get the one-person bossam set (11,000 won) or knife-cut noodles (7,000 won); in the evening, medium or large bossam (38,000 / 43,000 won) and scallion pancake with makgeolli. Three posts note the noodle broth is beef-bone, not seafood. Most seating is on the floor. We read 7 posts from 15 February to 21 August 2025, and all 7 describe an actual visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Most seating is on the floor; three posts say so. One counted a single chair table by the door, another two. If sitting on the floor is hard for you, expect only one or two tables with chairs.
  2. Four posts call it cheap. The bossam set was 11,000 won in posts from February, April and June 2025; one compares it with 15,000 won at a well-known rival nearby. Kalguksu was 7,000 won a bowl.
  3. No post mentions waiting. Four say the room was nearly empty: early evening with only the writer and her boyfriend, a weekend evening, a weekday dinner, and a weekday lunch.
  4. Posts praise the kimchi more than the pork. Two say the bossam kimchi is sweet; one noticed a hint of oyster.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

No post says which floor the restaurant is on — we simply don't know.

No one mentions steps at the entrance or wheelchair or stroller access. Note that most seating is on the floor.

No post says where the toilet is or whether it is separated by gender.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • Posts split one to one on friendliness: one found the owners not especially warm, another very kind. One mentions the owner turning on the air conditioning as soon as they said it was hot.
  • Portions are disputed: one post found the 7,000-won noodles generous, one called the set average, one said it was not small.
  • One post found it old-fashioned but not very tidy-feeling; no post discusses hygiene directly.
  • No one describes walking from the station; the 414 m from Seongsu Station exit 1 is copied listing text, so we don't rely on it.
  • Three posts give hours of 10:00 to 22:00, but all appear copied from a listing. No one mentions a break, last order or closing day.
  • Two posts list the phone number, 02-462-8760, but none says whether reservations are taken.
