Dumb Seoul is an LP sound bar on the second floor of 394 Ttukseom-ro, a five-to-ten-minute walk from Seongsu Station. It pours cocktails, whisky and wine alongside light plates such as a dried-persimmon biscuit sandwich, tiramisu and sausages. Prices in the posts: 15,000–23,000 won a cocktail, 15,000 won for the persimmon sandwich, 9,000 won for tiramisu. It opens in the evening and closes at midnight or 1 a.m.; many writers came for a second round after dinner. We read 30 posts dated December 2024 to October 2026; 13 are about this bar and 11 are first-hand visits. The other 17 merely contained the Korean word 덤.

What sets it apart
- Five posts sat by the window. One went at opening time to get the bar seat that looks out onto the street; another praised the big windows. One post notes two bar counters: one facing the bartender and one along the window.
- Four posts mention a free nibble with the drinks: puffed rice crackers and chocolate, a peanut snack, caramel popcorn, and a sea-salt chocolate that arrived with the second cocktail.
- Four posts found it quiet enough to talk, and one called it neither loud nor quiet. That doesn't mean the music is low — several writers came for the sound system and the record selection. Reports of DJ or listening sessions come from Instagram and hearsay, so we didn't count them.

Six posts say the bar is up a flight of stairs on the second floor, and three of them warn that the stairs are steep — hold the rail, and take care going down after a few drinks. No one describes it as a basement.
No post mentions a lift or whether a wheelchair or pushchair can get up. That is an absence of reports, not a confirmed no — but the only way in anyone describes is a steep staircase.
Three posts say the toilet is inside the bar, and two of them call it clean. Nobody says whether it is split by gender.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 13 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Accounts of the size differ: three posts call it small — room for five or six groups — and one says it is spacious. Two posts mention a large sofa that seats a group.
- On price, one post found it on the pricey side and one called it reasonable — the latter was a sponsored visit. Listed prices: cocktails 15,000–23,000 won, a glass of sparkling wine 8,000 won, a lager 10,000 won.
- One post (August 2026) says the food took far too long even though they were nearly the only guests just after opening, found the portion small, and wouldn't return. No other post reports slow service.
- All opening hours in the posts are copied from the bar's listing, and they change over time. Four posts from December 2024 to August 2025 give Tuesday as the day off and an 8 p.m. weekday opening. Three posts from June 2026 on list no day off and a 7 p.m. opening (one says 6 p.m. at weekends). Weekend opening has moved from 3 p.m. to 5, 6 and then 7 p.m. Check Instagram before going.
- No one reports queuing. Three posts arrived around 8–9 p.m. to find tables already taken, and one of them ended up at the bar because every table was full. One writer arrived 15–20 minutes early and was told the doors open exactly on time.
- Four posts give the phone number 0507-1467-5426. Reservations appear only in copied listing text; no one says they booked. Pet-friendliness and corkage likewise come only from the listing, so we didn't count them.
- Of the 11 first-hand posts, one (April 2025) discloses that the visit was sponsored. The other ten don't say who paid.
