Chaeyuk Sikdang Seongsu-jeom
채육식당 성수점 Chaeyuk joins chae (vegetables) and yuk (meat); a notice in the shop explains the name as fresh vegetables served with carefully made jeyuk pork, and sikdang simply means eatery.

A jeyuk-and-stew canteen on the ground floor of the Samhwan Digital Venture Tower on Achasan-ro 15-gil, a 10–20 minute walk from Exit 2 of Seongsu Station; it is the Seongsu branch of a small chain that also runs in Gunja and Hapjeong. The pork jeyuk set, served on an iron plate, is 14,500 won, and the soft-tofu, kimchi and snail-doenjang stew sets are 12,500 won. You choose white, brown or gondre (thistle) rice, and a fried egg comes with it. Lettuce and other wraps come from a self-serve bar, kimchi and pickles sit on every table, and there is yogurt to take on the way out. We read 30 posts dated 31 May to 21 September 2026. We set aside 3 that were about the Gunja branch or another restaurant, and 2 that only repackaged listing data, which leaves 25 visits. None of them reports a change in prices or layout over that period.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.
What sets it apart
- This is a top-up-as-you-go place: 20 of the 25 visits say you can go back for more wraps, rice, fried eggs or seaweed. The self-serve bar is described as four greens (perilla, lettuce, napa cabbage, chicory) plus ssamjang, chillies and garlic; one diner noted the greens were restocked as soon as they ran low. One post ordered an extra fried egg with the staff-call button on the kiosk.
- The sauces lean sweet-spicy: 17 posts call the food spicy and 6 call it sweet. All three posts that ordered the spicy galbi jeyuk found it hotter than the standard pork, one saying it was spicier than she expected; the soy-based galbi jeyuk, by contrast, was called rather mild.
- Fourteen posts describe the room as spacious and twelve as clean. Wide gaps between tables come up repeatedly, and one post notes seating from single tables to large ones. Five mention big windows letting in daylight. The '60 seats' figure is copied from the shop's own listing.
- Four posts say barley tea is brought to the table when you sit down, one describing it with ice floating in it. Hot barley tea and a water dispenser are self-serve, and coffee from a machine and yogurt are there after the meal.

- Seven posts mention getting meat patties (seven, per one post) for joining the review event, which is why so many photos show them on the table.

Parking
7 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Parking comes up again and again, which is unusual for Seongsu. Seven posts say directly that you can park; one mentions the building's car park with validation, and another saw marked bays outside. Whether there is enough space is split one to one: a diner who drove found it ample, while another thought there were not many spaces. The 'one hour free' line appears only in pasted listing blocks, so we do not rely on it.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 3 (of 25 posts read) |
|---|---|
| Ramp at the door | 1 of 25 posts |
Only one post talks about getting in: it praises a well-built wheelchair ramp. No one says whether there is a step at the door or tried it with a wheelchair or pushchair. That does not mean there is a problem, only that nobody wrote about it. The 'wheelchair accessible entrance and seating' line is pasted listing data. Three posts say it is on the ground floor.
We know nothing about the toilets: no post says where they are or what they are like. The 'separate men's and women's toilets' line comes only from pasted listing blocks.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 27 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
| 2026-05-31 | 2 posts in one day |

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- It is not really close to the station. Walking times from Exit 2 of Seongsu Station are given as 10, 15 and 20 minutes (pasted blocks also say 14 and about 15). Two posts call the walk easy enough. One says it was a long walk and suggests the bus, and two others hedge. No post names a bus route.
- We know little about waits. Only one post waited, and it was on an earlier mealtime visit (a long queue); this time they went at 4:30 pm and walked straight in. A weekend-lunch visitor was seated with no wait. Talk of packed weekday lunches is hearsay or guesswork. One post mentions waiting seats outside the door.
- Dates are the most common outing, in five posts. One went with a sibling and one with a group of colleagues; no post describes this visit as a trip with friends. Several mention lots of solo diners, but none of the visits we counted was a solo meal.
- Accounts of ordering differ: four posts used a kiosk, one used a tablet at the table.
- Opening hours: everyone agrees it opens at 10:00, but closing time is split, 22:00 in 14 posts (8 adding a 21:00 last order) and 21:00 in 3, one of which saw a 10am-to-9pm notice at the door. Most of the hours were copied from listing blocks. Two posts say there is no break time.
- Prices hold steady across the period: 14,500 won for the pork set, 12,500 won for the stew sets, 15,000 won for the spicy galbi and squid jeyuk, and 15,500 won for beef bulgogi. On whether a meal is good value, four posts say it is reasonable and two find it a bit pricey; one does not say either way. A post copying listing data gives 14,000 and 12,000 won, which does not match what diners wrote.
- Phone: one post gives 0507-1427-9310; two others copied it with the last digit cut off. Reservations appear only in pasted listing blocks; no one says they booked.
- Many posts read like promotional copy. Three from one blog share polished phrasing and the same pasted info block, and two say outright that they were written from listing data. None discloses sponsorship; 'paid my own way' appears only in three titles. Claims such as 'grade-1 Korean pork' and 'house-made kimchi' are the shop's own words, so we did not count them.
