Bulhyoja Seongsu
불효자 성수 Bulhyoja usually means an undutiful son, but the posts say the house reads it as 'bul-taneun hyoja', a fiery dutiful son — a son cooking pork on hot stone with sauces learned from his mother, who runs a pork restaurant in Jeolla.

A pork-on-stone grill on the roadside at 391 Ttukseom-ro, Seongdong-gu, toward Ttukdo Market. Korean-pork belly and neck are 16,000 won a portion, grilled for you on a heated stone slab with chamnamul greens, mushrooms and rice cake. The two street-side platform seats are the reason most people say they came, and many finished with Mokpo-style jajangmyeon (junggan, 8,000 won) or fried rice (8,000 won). We read 30 posts from 20 March to 30 September 2026: 26 describe a visit, one only introduces the place, and three were about other shops and set aside.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Staff do the grilling: 17 of the 26 visit posts say an employee or the owner cooked the meat on the stone, turning each piece and even grilling the kimchi alongside. One post says the staff were too busy, the first batch burned a little and they grilled the second order themselves; another was told grilling is done when the place is not crowded. One post waited a long time for the stone to heat to 300 degrees before any meat arrived.
- Whether you wait depends on the hour. Twelve posts waited and six walked straight in. The waits they recorded were 10 minutes (weekday 6 pm), 10 minutes (Saturday 9 pm), 10 minutes (weekday 8 pm), 50 minutes, an hour, and 80 minutes in a remote queue. The walk-ins came at 5 pm on a weekday, 4:30 pm and 7 pm on Wednesdays, 5 pm on a Saturday and at the 2 pm Sunday opening. Several posts queued through CatchTable; one arrived at 3:50 pm on Children's Day and was already third in line.
- There are two street-side platforms and four or five tables inside. Nine posts sat on a platform or floor seat. Four posts count two platforms plus four tables, four say about six tables in all, and one says seven; five posts note the room is small. One post says the platforms can be booked only for three or more, and one warns that by day the sun falls straight on your legs there.
- The front is open to the street, yet four posts found it well air-conditioned inside, one saying it was cold enough to see your breath. One post mentions the half-outdoor setting lets some insects in.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
2 posts say it is walkable from the station.
Getting inside
No post describes the floor or how you step in from the street; the '1st floor' in the address is copied, not observed.
No post mentions a step at the entrance or coming in with a wheelchair or stroller — one couple left their baby at home. That means nobody wrote about it, not that there is no barrier.
Nobody says whether the toilet is inside the shop or separated by gender; one post warns that it is very cramped.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 24 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Two posts say seating is limited to two hours; one, a booked company dinner, was asked to start clearing ten minutes before eight. Minimum orders are disputed: one post had to order a portion for every booked guest, another was glad to order single portions.
- Two posts call it tidy; one found chipped dishes and sticky walls and would not recommend it to anyone fussy about old-style places.
- All the opening hours are copied from listings: eight posts give weekdays 16:00–23:00 and weekends 14:00–23:00, four give 16:00–23:00 every day, and ten give last orders at 22:00. One post alone lists a noon weekend opening and Sunday closure, but another walked in at the 2 pm Sunday opening. No post confirms a regular day off.
- Four posts call it pricey, mostly about the sides and the 8,000-won fried rice. One pair spent 47,000 won on two portions of belly (32,000), junggan with egg (9,000) and soju (6,000). Doenjang stew is 8,000 won in one April post and 9,000 in June and September; soju is 5,000 won in July and 6,000 in September — each from a single post, so we cannot say whether prices rose.
- The phone number 0507-1379-8724 is copied in eight posts. Two posts booked: one company buyout, and one Friday 6 pm table that still had to wait on arrival. One post says parties of two should call the shop to check.
