A second-floor café on an alley north of Seongsu Station — the area people call Buk-Seongsu. The draw is house-made gelato and hand-brewed single-origin coffee, with cakes that change by season. As of September 2026, a two-flavour gelato cup ran ₩7,000–7,500 and hand-drip coffee ₩6,000–6,500. Several posts describe it as a place stocked with books that favours reading over laptop work. What sets it apart
- There are books. Seven posts mention plenty of them on hand. One found a different poetry collection in each table drawer, so you can read without bringing anything; another says the owner discourages laptops and encourages reading, and a third puts it as 'no laptop studying, reading welcome'. It is upstairs and barely signed. Five posts say you climb to the second floor. One says there is no proper sign at the entrance, only a green sheet of paper; another says a standing sign and a printed paper on the door were all there was, and wondered whether a place that looked like someone's house could be right. Two mention an old-fashioned large mirror on the stairs.
We don't know about wheelchair or stroller access — no one wrote about it. One post describes climbing stairs to the second floor, and none mentions a lift; that means no one wrote about one, not that there isn't one.
The toilet is outside the café. Two posts say so: one says you take a key and use the toilet downstairs, the other that it is on the half-landing with a manual lock and no code. No one says whether it is split by gender or how big it is.

- One post says seating is limited to two hours, adding that it isn't strictly enforced. No other post mentions a time limit.
- Tuesday opening hours changed. Four July 2026 posts say it closed at 17:00 on Tuesdays; two September posts, and one post updated through September, say it is closed on Tuesdays. Every post gives 12:00–22:00 for the other days. The September hours also come from info boxes the bloggers pasted in, and one post advises checking the café's Instagram before going.
- No post describes actually waiting. One says there is usually a wait on weekends, though that writer walked straight in on a weekday afternoon. Others mention crowds — only one seat left, or full even at an off-peak hour — while another found three free seats at 2–3 pm on a Saturday. No one gives a wait time.
- Only four posts say who they came with: friends twice, a sibling once, alone once. Others mention seeing people reading on their own, but that is too little to say whom the place suits best.
- Prices are hard to pin down because the menu changes with the seasons.
