The Seongsu Station branch of the Boseung Hoegwan rice-soup chain, in an alley just behind Exit 4 (96 Achasan-ro, ground floor). Sundae or boiled-pork rice soup is 11,000 won, and a one-person set adding a plate of sundae and boiled pork is 16,000 won. You order on a tablet or kiosk at the table, and in the evening there is a drinking menu of pork platters and hot pots. We read 30 posts from 13 May to 4 October 2026; 19 describe eating here. What sets it apart
- Many of the diners are foreign visitors — nine posts say so. One Sunday-lunch visitor in September put it at about 70% of the room, another at over half, and one said the weekend lunch queue was almost all Chinese and Japanese tourists. Two posts saw the review-event notice posted in Chinese, Japanese and English. A figure of over 80% came from the owner, so we did not count it.
- There is a queue at lunch and on weekends; five posts waited or saw one. One arrived around 1:30 on a Sunday to a long line that was still there at 2:10, one hit a wait around noon, one still found a short wait at 2 pm on a weekend, and one took the last free table just before a queue formed. No post says how many minutes they waited. Two others called it busy but said tables turn over quickly.
- Food comes out fast: four posts say so, one comparing it to a Chinese delivery joint. No post complained of slow service.
- You order on a tablet or kiosk at your table — ten posts say so, and one adds that kimchi refills and calling staff are buttons too. Four posts note that every soup comes with chili paste mixed in unless you tick it off when ordering.

- Nine posts say the pork and broth had no off smell, and none say otherwise. One post did find the thin pork-jowl slices tasted frozen.
- Six posts call the portions large. A size-up is 2,000 won more; one couple had two 13,000-won large bowls and were stuffed. Another notes the rice is packed firmly into the bowl.
- No post calls it expensive; five say the price is fair, one reckoning 11,000 won a bowl is reasonable given recent inflation. Prices quoted from May to September do not differ.
- Ten posts walked from Seongsu Station Exit 4: turn around as you come out and it is just inside the alley. The often-quoted '35 m from Exit 4' is copied from Naver.

Getting inside
No post describes the floor from experience. The address says ground floor, but that is not the same as someone telling us there are no steps.
No post says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in. One family went with a child but did not mention a stroller. We don't know.
No post describes the toilet. One post's copied info block says it is outside the restaurant, but we did not count that.

Of the 21 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Heat depends on what you order: four posts that had the spicy or 'hell' soups found them hot, while one that had the regular sundae soup said it was neither spicy nor salty. Spicy costs 1,000 won extra.
- Every opening-hours line is copied, and they split: six posts say 24 hours every day, six say there are gaps — five that Monday opens at 11:00, five that Sunday closes at 22:00. One gives last orders at 23:30 (21:30 Sunday). No post went in the small hours, so we cannot confirm it really runs all night.
- Four posts went as a couple; friends, family with a child, and solo account for one post each. Many call it good for eating alone, but only one actually went alone.
- Many posts copy the phone number 02-458-8889, but none says they booked. One merely guesses that groups should reserve.
- Four posts note it is a chain. Posts about other branches kept turning up; we removed nine, and every count here is for the Seongsu Station branch only.
- Six posts with the same template — meal menu versus drinking menu, the multilingual review event, the foreign diners — appeared within five days, 17 to 21 September 2026. Only one disclosed a free meal voucher from the restaurant. Four posts say they paid their own way.
