A pork gomtang shop at Seongsu-iro 14-gil 5 in Seongsu-dong. Half a flight up in what looks like a converted house, there is a bar counter plus two- and four-person tables, and you order by QR code at the table. The core is clear-broth pork gomtang served with the rice already in the bowl, plus dumplings wrapped in cabbage leaves; gomtang is 11,000 won and the set with two dumplings is 14,000 won. We read 28 posts from 30 May to 4 October 2026; 13 were about the Dongtan, Myeongdong or Yongsan branches or unrelated things with the same name, and 11 describe actually eating here. Two went alone, two with a partner, one with a friend.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Seating mixes a bar counter with tables. Five posts described it — a bar plus four- and two-seat tables, roughly five or six regular tables — and both solo diners sat at the bar.
  2. Ordering is by QR code at the table, according to five posts; one diner who made a mistake in the QR order said staff fixed it straight away.
  3. Posts keep saying there is a lot of meat: five mentioned the portion, one leaving meat unfinished and another passing some to her husband.
  4. Waiting depends on the hour. A visitor around 12:40 on a weekday found a line outside but said it moved fast; an early-evening visitor walked straight in, and one who came after 2 p.m. found a single other table.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 2 (of 9 posts read)
Step at the entrance2 of 9 posts

Although the address says ground floor, you climb steps to get in: two posts said the dining room is half a flight up a staircase.

No one wrote about getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. We only know there is a half-flight of stairs; that does not mean there is no ramp, only that nobody mentioned one.

We don't know whether the toilet is inside or split by gender; one post only noted mouthwash left in the restroom.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 13 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Accounts of the meat differ: one post called the slices thick, two called them thin.
  • How hot the spicy gomtang is is disputed: two posts found it fiery, one said it was not very spicy.
  • We cannot tell whether the price changed: a 30 May 2026 post said 10,000 won, while a menu photographed on 26 June showed 11,000 won. The 12,000 won seen in Dongtan-branch posts is not this shop's price.
  • No visit post described walking from a station or bus stop; they only say it is near Seongsu Station.
  • Five posts give the same hours: daily 11:00–22:00, last order 21:30, no break. Four of them are copied notices, and one adds that it closes early when ingredients run out.
  • Only one post lists a phone number (0507-1481-9047), and no one said whether reservations are taken.
  • Two posts built on the same template, made up mostly of 'it is said' information, were left out of the counts, as were six posts about the Dongtan Lotte Department Store branch.
