YUKTA

육타 Yukta Yukta is a coined name; the house's own blog glosses it as 'the craft of handling meat' (yuk, meat).

Compiled from 6 blog posts read in fullSources →

Yukta is a Korean-beef and pork restaurant in the Seoul Forest Forhu building (Wangsimni-ro 58, unit 112) right by Seoul Forest Station. At lunch people eat set meals — yukhoe bibimbap or grilled rib-finger meat with cheonggukjang — and perilla-oil buckwheat noodles; at dinner they grill brisket, rib-finger and pork belly. The yukhoe bibimbap lunch set cost 15,000 won from March to August 2026. We read 30 posts from August 2025 to September 2026. We set aside 1 about a different shop near Ttukseom Station, and did not count 21 promotional posts from the restaurant's own blog. 8 posts are from actual visits.

What sets it apart

  1. 5 of the 8 visitor posts called the room clean — one described a modern, tidy interior, another a high ceiling that made it feel open and air-conditioning that was a relief on a hot day. One post noted there weren't many seats.

Parking

Posts saying you can park1 of 6 posts

One post came by car: a parent visiting Seoul Forest with their son parked in the building and found the garage easy, with a wide entrance and plenty of room. The 'one hour free' line appears only in copied listing info; no visitor wrote down how the parking discount actually worked.

Where it is

Map showing where YUKTA is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

No visitor wrote which floor the room is on. The address says ground floor and one post says you enter from outside — that is all we have.

Nobody mentioned a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. We don't know.

No post said where the toilet is or whether it is separated by gender. We don't know.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 27 posts we gathered, 21 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

2026-04-082 posts in one day
2026-04-014 posts in one day
2026-03-245 posts in one day

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Whether you grill at the table depends on the meal. A May 2026 lunch visitor found no grill at the table — the meat came out kitchen-cooked on a hot plate — while an August 2026 dinner visitor grilled the mixed platter themselves. The shop's blog also says lunch is set meals and dinner is grilling, so we read this as lunch versus dinner, not a change over time.
  • Opinions on price split. Two posts from March and April 2026 that had the 15,000-won lunch set called it good value; one August 2026 post that shared the 28,000-won Yukta set said it was a bit pricey and the 100 g of beef was small. Dinner prices rose: in March 2026 the shop's blog listed yukhoe at 20,000 won and rib-finger and pork belly at 15,000 won each; from April it was 27,000 won for yukhoe, 23,000 won for 150 g of rib-finger and 19,000 won for 170 g of pork belly. The rib-finger lunch set went from 15,000 won in March to 16,000 won by August.
  • Only 1 visitor post mentioned a wait — a weekday lunch in June 2026 with 'a bit of a queue', no minutes given. The shop's blog also says there is a wait from 12 to 1, but that is the shop's own claim and we did not count it.
  • One visitor described the walk: out of Seoul Forest Station on the Suin-Bundang line, along the outside of the building to the far end. The shop isn't connected to the building's interior, so you enter from the street.
  • Who people came with doesn't cluster: 1 with a husband, 1 with a child, 1 as a group of four. No post mentioned coming with friends.
  • Opening hours were copied by 2 visitor posts: both say Monday to Saturday until 21:30, but one says it opens at 11:00 and the other at 11:30. Only one gives a 15:00–17:00 break and Sunday closing. The shop's own blog (April 2026) says weekdays until 22:00 with no weekend break. Check before you go.
  • Two phone numbers appear: 02-6958-5161 on two of the shop's blog posts, and 0507-1468-5161 in listing info copied by one visitor. No visitor wrote about making a reservation.
  • 21 of the posts we read — two thirds — come from the restaurant's own blog, repeating the same footer and suggested-order tables along with the shop's own claims (a 14-pyeong room, an owner with 11 years in the business). We used them only for menu items and prices, not as evidence of what a visit is like.
