Hambageu Yosi
함바그 요시 Hambagu is the Korean rendering of the Japanese hanbāgu (hamburg steak), and Yoshi is the name of the Japanese brand, which bloggers say also runs a shop in Harajuku, Tokyo.

Hambageu Yosi is a Japanese-style hamburg steak shop on the ground floor of a red-brick building at 22 Seoulsup 6-gil, near Seoul Forest. You order at a kiosk by the door, sit at a counter wrapped around the kitchen, and staff grill the patties over charcoal and place them on your rice one at a time as you eat. Eight posts put the standard set (three patties, rice, miso soup, white kimchi and an egg) at 16,900 won; there are also beef-tongue and wagyu sets. We read 28 posts dated 28 June to 5 October 2026. Ten were about something else (Mario's Yoshi, or another restaurant upstairs in the same building) and were set aside; 18 describe an actual visit. None disclosed sponsorship, and seven say the writer paid their own way.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Seventeen of the 18 visit posts mention the juices running out of the patty. Two say the seasoning is not salty, leaving room for the sauces.
- Nine posts say all seating is at the counter; one warns that this makes it hard for a group. Nine say you can watch the grilling from your seat. Two found the high backless stools uncomfortable. Four mention coat hooks and bag baskets behind the seats.
- Six posts say food is slow because each patty is grilled to order. Two timed it at about 20 minutes, and one warned office workers on a lunch break. One writer who walked in ten minutes before opening waited 20 to 30 minutes but blamed their own early arrival.
- Seven posts walked straight in, on weekday afternoons and evenings, a Sunday at 3 pm and a weekend lunch. A Saturday visitor saw a queue start just after noon, and a Sunday opening-time visitor saw the room fill within five minutes. Posts mention a waitlist machine at the entrance.
3 more
- Nine posts say you order and pay at the kiosk by the door before being seated; water and eggs are self-service.
- Four posts went with a partner or spouse, two with friends, one with family and a baby, one as a work lunch. Several say the counter suits solo diners, but nobody wrote that they went alone.
- Three posts call it fair value for the money; one, from a parent with a baby, found it over 20,000 won and only so-so. Three say the meal is filling.

Two posts say there is no parking at the shop and used public lots nearby. One instead says the shop's own lot is small. Other 'no parking' lines are copied info blocks and were not counted.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 2 (of 18 posts read) |

| Step at the entrance | 1 of 18 posts |
One post says you climb a few steps to reach the ground-floor entrance. Nobody wrote about getting in with a wheelchair or stroller, so we don't know whether it's possible. Two posts confirm from their visit that it is on the ground floor.
No visitor described the restroom. One post's 'use the shop's restroom' line is a copied info block.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- Three posts say it is a short walk from Ttukseom (Line 2) or Seoul Forest station; the 'five minutes from exit 8' figure comes from a copied info table.
- Twelve posts give opening hours of 11:30 to 21:00, eight give last orders at 20:00 and two say it never closes. Most of these are copied info blocks rather than first-hand checks. One post gives last orders at 22:00, which is after closing, so we treat it as a typo.
- Price: the standard set stays at 16,900 won from late June to early October, with one October post writing 16,000. Nobody gives the wagyu price; the tongue hamburg set (21,000) and Korean-beef tongue steak set (28,000) each appear in a single post.
- Three posts copy the phone number 0507-1371-2074. Nobody says whether reservations are taken; posts describe a waitlist machine at the door instead.
- The TV-show plaque, the Tokyo origin and the Icheon rice are things the shop advertises or bloggers heard; we repeat them but did not count them as evidence.
