용호동낙지 서울숲점 Yongho-dong is the neighbourhood in Busan where the brand started, and nakji means small octopus; Seoulsup-jeom marks this as the Seoul Forest branch.

Compiled from 13 blog posts read in fullSources →

An octopus restaurant on the ground floor of 338 Ttukseom-ro, between Seoul Forest station and Gyeongil Elementary School. It is the Seoul Forest branch of a brand that started in Yongho-dong, Busan, and several posts say it opened on 9 January 2026. Order nakgopsae (an octopus, tripe and shrimp hotpot) or flame-seared stir-fried octopus at 14,000 won a head, two portions minimum, and it comes with a bowl of rice, bean sprouts and seaweed flakes that you mix with sesame oil from the table. We read 14 posts dated 7 December 2025 to 16 June 2026. We dropped one that was about a different branch in Anguk. The other 13 are all first-hand visits, and ten of them, written between 22 January and 4 February 2026, share the same promotional wording.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Side dishes are refilled from a self-service bar; 11 of the 13 visit posts say so. One post lists young radish kimchi, cabbage salad, stir-fried fish cake and dried radish, and three say they also topped up bean sprouts and seaweed for the rice there. One writer adds that staff still offered to bring anything missing.
  2. Ten of the 12 posts that describe the room call it large; one says the hall was really big and another that several groups would fit with ease. One afternoon visitor noted wide gaps between tables and good ventilation. Two posts mention private rooms, but both in the shared promotional wording.
  3. Two posts say food comes fast: one says everything was on the table within five minutes of ordering, the other that it came out quickly. No post complains of slow service.

The most ordered dish is nakgopsae (낙곱새) — 7 of 13 posts.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

Parking

2 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park2 of 13 posts

Two posts describe parking themselves: one says there are spaces in front and a large lot behind the building, the other that you turn in by the tyre shop opposite Gyeongil Elementary. The 'one or two cars out front, public lots if full' line appears in copied info blocks, so we did not count it. No one actually says they parked there.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

No post describes which floor it is on from experience; only the address says ground floor. That is silence, not a confirmation.

We do not know whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or pushchair gets in. Many posts call it family-friendly, but none describe the way in.

We do not know whether the toilet is inside or separated by gender; no post mentions it.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • Posts split on heat: three call it spicy, two say it was not, one is undecided. One writer who had the default nakgopsae says it was milder than Shin Ramyun, as the table sign promised; another had staff add hot sauce and still found it no different from medium. All three who found it spicy had the stir-fried octopus. You can choose the spice level when ordering.
  • No post says they came by subway. 'Exit 2 of Seoul Forest station, 8 minutes on foot' comes from copied info blocks; the one writer who describes walking set off from the park, not the station.
  • No one reports queueing. One visitor at about 2 pm found it quiet; one evening visitor says turnover was quick and the wait short. We do not know how busy it gets at lunch or at weekends.
  • Many posts pitch it for family meals and school-parent gatherings, yet none clearly say they went with family. Three posts say who they went with: two with a husband or partner, one in a group of four. One ordered the children's cutlet without making clear a child was there, and one saw high chairs.
  • Opening hours: five posts from Jan–Feb 2026 all give 11:00–22:00, four of them with a 15:00–17:00 break and three with last orders at 21:00. One June 2026 post instead lists 11:00–22:00 on weekdays and 11:30–21:00 at weekends. All of these are copied listings, and that single post is our only sign the weekend hours changed. No post mentions a closing day.
  • Prices: nakgopsae and stir-fried octopus are 14,000 won a head with a two-portion minimum, so 28,000 won for two. The 2,000-won weekday lunch discount and 3,000-won soju and beer after 5 pm were an opening promotion in Jan–Feb 2026; the two posts from May–June do not mention them, so we do not know if they continue. One post says a receipt review earned free noodles or a drink.
  • Four posts give the same phone number, 02-462-3692. Reservations appear only in a copied info block and in the promotional wording about group bookings; no one says they actually booked.
  • Ten of the 13 visit posts went up between 22 January and 4 February 2026 and repeat the same phrases in the same order: 'new spot near Seoul Forest', 'new spot near Gyeongil Elementary', the opening offers, school-parent meetups. None disclose sponsorship, but they read like one promotional batch. Only three posts fall outside that window, from March, May and June 2026.
