Grill houseChinese
Yangbokjeom Seongsu
양복점 성수점 Yangbokjeom sounds like the Korean word for a tailor's shop, but the sign writes it 羊福店 — lamb, fortune, shop — and it is a charcoal lamb-skewer house.
Compiled from 14 blog posts read in fullSources →
A charcoal lamb-skewer house in the alley right outside Ttukseom Station exit 7 (28-2 Wangsimni-ro 4-gil, ground floor). Every table has a grill that turns the skewers on its own, so you hang them up and pull them off as they cook. The basic lamb skewer is 18,900 won for a 210 g portion, and meat comes in orders of two portions or more; the most-ordered side is a black-battered sweet-and-sour pork at 23,000 won. We read 17 posts from 21 July to 3 October 2026; 15 describe an actual meal there, one was about another restaurant and was set aside, and one is a single entry in a neighbourhood list.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Thickness is the most repeated remark: 8 of the 12 posts that talk about taste and texture call the meat thick, one comparing it to the lamb rib cut elsewhere. How long it takes to cook is disputed — one September post says be patient, another September post says the strong fire cooks it fast, and a July post wondered whether the fire was a bit weak.
- Six posts describe the skewers rotating on their own over the coals. Staff bring the lit charcoal, and several posts mention an extractor hood over every table; one writer liked that there was nothing to do but chat while it cooked.
- Four posts address gaminess and all four say there was none; no post says otherwise. One writer who is usually put off by the smell of lamb said it didn't bother them here.
- Three posts mention a room at the back — one calls it a four-person table room, another a single private room. One post says the place spans two floors; it is the only post to mention a second floor.
3 more
- Three posts ordered from a tablet or kiosk at the table; one adds that a paper menu is kept for larger groups. A post from a late Thursday visit in July says the cooked dishes were no longer available, only skewers.
- Three posts describe a review offer: 3,000 won off per person for a receipt review, a free Tsingtao for a photo review. Several posts also mention two-for-one drinks before 5 pm on weekdays, mostly copied from the shop's notice.
- Seven posts put it a one- or two-minute walk from Ttukseom Station exit 7; despite the 'Seongsu' in the name, several note Ttukseom is the nearer station. One post's info block says exit 8 and another says Seongsu Station exit 1; we treat those as copied and did not count them.

Parking
1 posts say you cannot park. None say you can.

Only one post says from experience that there is no parking and the subway is easier. The 'no parking' lines and the list of four nearby paid car parks in other posts repeat the same notice in the same order; one post's info block says paid parking is available.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station

Getting inside
| Second floor | 1 of 14 posts |
|---|---|
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 1 (of 14 posts read) |
| Toilet inside | yes 0 · no 1 (of 14 posts read) |
One post describes the floors: it sat on the ground floor and says there is a second floor too. Nobody mentions a basement.
No post says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or pushchair can get in. That means we don't know, not that there is a problem.
Only one post mentions the toilets: the men's is outside the restaurant and awkward to reach. Nobody says where the women's is or whether there is an accessible toilet.
No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 15 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Waiting is split: two posts say you will queue, two walked straight in (one on a Saturday evening). Several posts say bookings via Naver or CatchTable are taken until 6:30 pm, after which you join a waitlist, and one notes you cannot check the queue by phone. Two posts mention waiting chairs outside. No post gives a waiting time in minutes.
- Seven posts list opening hours, all copied from info blocks. Six give weekdays 15:30–24:00, and five give Saturday 12:30–23:00 and Sunday 12:30–22:00, with last orders an hour before closing. A single post from 30 September says Monday–Wednesday from 15:30 and Thursday–Saturday from 12:30, but a 3 October post repeats the weekday 15:30 opening, so we don't treat it as a change. No post mentions a closing day.
- Prices were the same in every post from July to October: 18,900 won for the basic skewer, 25,900 won for loin, 28,900 won for rib, all per 210 g. One post puts a meal for two with drinks past 50,000 won. One post calls it expensive; two hedge.
- Five posts give the same phone number, 0507-1306-5509. Several say reservations are taken on Naver or CatchTable until 6:30 pm; one post's info block suggests calling ahead.
- Three of the 17 posts disclose sponsorship or partial support. One sponsored post and one undisclosed post list the same four car parks in the same order with the same wording, which looks like a handout from the shop. Awards and claims such as '48-hour aging' are the shop's own words and we did not rely on them.
