OEUF

밀카페 우프 Milkape Upeu Oeuf is French for egg; the house calls itself a meal cafe (OEUF MEALCAFE), and its best-known plate is kimchi fried rice under a thick scrambled egg.

Oeuf Meal Cafe is a brunch cafe on the second floor of a red-brick building on Seoulsup 4-gil, near Seoul Forest. You order at the counter: kimchi fried rice under a thick scrambled egg (14,900 won), garlic-scape and scallop oil pasta (15,900 won), a grilled cheese sandwich, a daily soup. Posts from late August 2026 on say it opens at 7 a.m. We read 30 posts from April to October 2026; 10 describe eating in the cafe. Eight are about a Lotte World Mall pop-up (24 August-17 September 2026) selling cup cakes and cookies, and the rest include delivery posts and posts about an unrelated bakery called Oeuf in Seokchon-dong and the Hakdong branch.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. No one wrote about waiting. Three posts said they walked straight in: first customers at about 11 a.m., no wait at a weekday lunch, a quiet Saturday late morning. Two posts noticed a steady stream of delivery orders instead.
  2. It is small: 4 posts call it cosy or not large, while 3 say there are more tables than you might expect. Two found it quiet.
  3. Two visitors called the portions large — the kimchi fried rice looked like a rice-and-a-half serving, and the chicken salad was more filling than expected.

Getting inside

Second floor7 of 9 posts
Toilet insideyes 0 · no 1 (of 9 posts read)

The cafe is upstairs: 7 posts describe climbing from the ground-floor entrance, by what they call an iron or a white staircase. Two posts mention big windows that make the room feel open and bright.

Posts describe climbing stairs to the second floor, but nobody mentioned a lift, a step at the door, or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. We don't know.

The toilet is not in the cafe: one post says it is on the building's ground floor and you take a key from the counter. No one said whether it is split by gender.

No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 19 posts we gathered, 10 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

2026-08-312 posts in one day

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Opinions on price split one to one. Plates run 14,900-15,900 won and a long black 5,000 won; one visitor thought it good value for the portion, another liked the food but hesitated to return at that price.
  • Company is scattered: two posts with friends, one with a partner, one in a group, one with a dog (that writer said dogs are allowed). Not enough to say who it suits.
  • Opening hours are all copied from listings and changed over time: posts from 25 August 2026 on give 7 a.m.-9 p.m. daily (last order 8:30), an early-August post gives a 9 a.m. opening, and a June post recalling an earlier visit gives 11 a.m.-9 p.m. One post says it opens every day. Check current hours before going.
  • Two posts copied the phone number, 02-466-1500. Nobody said whether it takes reservations. Several posts note takeout and delivery, and one post ate it by delivery.
  • Claims about a pastry team that graduated top of the Nakamura Academy, and that bread, soup and cakes are made daily, are the cafe's own words, copied by bloggers; we don't rely on them. One visitor did see celebrity autographs on the wall. The Oeuf bakery in Seokchon-dong, known for raspberry baguettes, is a different business, and the Lotte World Mall pop-up has ended.
