Tanhyang is a small bar for Korean traditional liquor and Korean wine behind a red facade at Seongdeokjeong-gil 53, on a side street between Seongsu and Seoul Forest stations. One owner runs both the kitchen and the drinks, and pours by the glass as well as by the bottle. The food centres on tteokgalbi with mashed potato (₩17,000) and soy-sauce ragu pasta (₩19,000); one pair paid ₩50,000 for those two dishes plus two drinks. One post says it officially opened on 7 July 2026. We read 17 posts dated 11 December 2025 to 3 October 2026: three were about other places and one was a single line in a roundup. The 13 posts from actual visits were all written between 29 July and 2 October 2026.

No post describes the floor or any steps from experience; the '1F' in the address is copied text. That is not a sign it isn't ground level — just that nobody said.
No post mentions an entrance step or wheelchair or stroller access, and we don't know how high the bar stools are.
The toilet is disputed: an August 2026 post says it is shared with the sundae-soup place next door, a September post says it is inside the shop. It is one against one, and no post mentions any work in between. Nobody says whether it is split by gender.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 14 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- The outdoor seats in front are seasonal. August 2026 posts say the terrace was coming soon or would open once it cooled; four posts from September on sat outside, one counting two outdoor tables. Nobody says whether they stay out once it gets cold.
- One post came by bus from Seongsu station, about seven minutes. The 837 m from Seoul Forest exit 2 is copied listing text. One post says it was a short walk on to Ttukseom Hangang Park.
- No post reports waiting. One blogger's info box warns of possible waits late at night given the few seats, but that is not something they experienced.
- Opening hours: eight posts give Monday–Saturday 18:00 to 02:00, four add a last order at 01:00, and all nine that mention hours say it is closed on Sundays. They agree, but every one is copied from a listing.
- Prices are known for the food but barely for the drinks — apart from one makgeolli at ₩14,000, no post gives a by-the-glass or bottle price for the traditional liquors.
- Six posts give the same phone number, 0507-1352-5374. Reservations by phone or Instagram DM are only mentioned in info boxes and advice; no post says they booked. Private hire is likewise only 'ask us'.
- Five posts landed on 24–25 August 2026, and the same line about a highball or beer after a run by the Han River recurs in six posts. It may be wording supplied by the shop, but no post discloses sponsorship or an invitation.
