Super yiayia

슈퍼이야이야 Syupeo Iyaiya Yiayia is Greek for grandmother; Super Yiayia is the pita-sandwich shop of the olive-oil brand Yiayia & Friends.

Compiled from 9 blog posts read in fullSources →

A Greek-style pita sandwich shop on the ground floor of an alley on Seoulsup 4-gil, between Ttukseom and Seoul Forest stations. It belongs to the olive-oil brand Yiayia & Friends: you order at a kiosk and watch the open kitchen fill your pita pocket. The signature spicy chicken sandwich was listed at 9,900 won, or 14,900 won as a set. Some people eat in; others take it to Seoul Forest. We read 25 posts dated 16 August to 4 October 2026; 11 were about this shop and 9 described an actual meal. The other 14 were about other branches (Gangnam, Anguk, Hannam, a Mokdong pop-up) or unrelated places.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Ordering is by kiosk: five posts say so, and one notes you choose eat-in or takeout on the screen.
  2. Four posts left a Naver receipt review and got the 'super fries' (potato and sweet-potato fries with falafel) free, so much of the praise for the fries comes from people eating a review freebie. One post says the fries were unavailable on a busy earlier visit.
  3. The heat comes mostly from the small yellow pepper on top. Three posts found it hot; one called it only mildly spicy. Two warn that biting the pepper squirts juice, and one found it salty if eaten whole.
  4. No post reports waiting in line. Three visits (weekday after 1 pm, weekend lunch, around the 10 am opening) were all seated straight away. One writer recalls an earlier visit so busy it was hard to find a seat, one says the food took a while to come out, and one mentions a waiting bench by the entrance.
2 more
  1. Three posts describe seats inside: a long window counter facing out and some tables for groups. The stools split opinion one to one: one post found them uncomfortable, another found the wide backless seats fine.
  2. One post says it is a short walk from Ttukseom or Seoul Forest station; another notes that despite the name it is much closer to Seoul Forest than to Seongsu station.

Parking

1 posts say you cannot park. None say you can.

Posts saying you cannot1 of 9 posts

Parking at the door looks hard. One post says you can't park right outside; another thought it unlikely and suggested the Seongsu 1-ga 2-dong community centre lot. One driver used the Seongsu cultural welfare centre lot, with the first 30 minutes free. A 'no parking' line in another post is copied listing text, so we did not count it.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 1 (of 9 posts read)
Toilet insideyes 0 · no 1 (of 9 posts read)

One post places it on the building's ground floor; none mentions a basement or upper floor.

Nobody mentioned a step at the entrance or access by wheelchair or stroller. We don't know either way.

One post says there is no toilet in the shop and that you have to go to Seoul Forest station; no other post mentions toilets.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 11 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Five posts give opening hours of 10:00–19:00 (last order 18:30), all copied from listings. One visitor says the sign at the shop said 8 am opening, unlike Naver, and a passer-by saw a board reading 8 am to 8 pm. Check before you go.
  • Prices were 9,900 won for a sandwich (9,200 for falafel) and 14,900 for a set, all from Aug–Sep 2026 posts. No Seongsu post called it expensive. A Gangnam-branch post with higher prices (up to 10,900) was left out.
  • The phone number 010-2676-7107 appears in two posts, both in copied listing blocks. 'Reservations accepted' also comes only from a copied block; nobody actually booked.
  • Who people came with is scattered: two with friends, two by car, one alone, one with family. No pattern emerges.
