Swepeu-uui Ppaojeupu
쉐프우의 빠오즈푸 Ppaojeupu is the Korean rendering of the Chinese baozi pu (包子铺), a steamed-bun shop; the sign reads 'Chef U's baozi shop', with the characters 包子铺 above it.

A Chinese dumpling shop on the ground floor of a building in a side street between Seoul Forest and Ttukseom stations. The yellow sign says 'Chef U's Baozipu'; most bloggers call it the Seoul Forest branch of Baozipu. People come for pork baozi (9,000 won for eight), lifted onto a spoon and pierced so you drink the broth first, with pan-fried shrimp dumplings (10,000 won) and wonton noodles in pork-bone broth (9,000 won). You order and pay on a tablet at the table. We read 30 posts from October 2024 to October 2026; six were about other restaurants (including the main branch in Gwangjin-gu), and 22 describe actually eating here.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Ordering happens at your seat. Twelve posts say they ordered and paid on the tablet or kiosk at each table. Two mention it can split the bill, and one says cash is paid at the counter after the meal.
- Ten posts mention a queue. Three give a wait: 5 minutes (weekend, 2 p.m.), 5 minutes (weekday evening) and 20 minutes. One writer arriving at 2 p.m. found 23 parties already on the list. You write your name and party size on the sheet by the door and wait outside to be called. One post walked straight in on a weekday after the lunch rush, and another got in right at opening on a weekday.
- The broth inside the dumplings is the recurring theme: seventeen posts say they were full of juice, and one says there was less than expected. Several warn that a fresh bun will burn your mouth and suggest tearing it open on a spoon to let it cool.
- The 'spicy' dishes are mild. Six posts say the food was not hot, four of them about the spicy wonton noodles or soup (one: 'not spicy at all'). Two call it only mildly spicy. Posts say you add heat with the fried chili flakes on the table.
1 more
- The free sides are pickled radish and zha cai; seven posts say you refill them yourself from a self-service bar near the kitchen. Two found the zha cai too salty.

Parking
2 posts say you cannot park. None say you can.

Two posts say the restaurant has no parking. One writer who drove found the nearby Seongsu Art Hall lot full even on a weekday afternoon and used the Seongdong sports centre across the road; another recommends the Seongsu Library lot (first 30 minutes free). 'No parking' also appears in several other posts, copied from map listings.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

6 posts say it is walkable from the station.
Getting inside

Nobody wrote about a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller fits. That means we don't know, not that it's fine. One post confirms it is on the ground floor.
The toilet is outside the restaurant. Two posts say so: one says it is just to the left as you leave, unisex, so lock the door; the other says you have to take a key outside.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 24 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Posts disagree on size: two call it roomy with well-spaced tables, three call it small. The three posts that counted tables say 8 or 9 (one specifies four 4-seat and five 2-seat tables).
- Prices have gone up. Shrimp dumplings were 9,000 won in two posts from October and November 2024 and 10,000 won from May 2025. Spicy wonton noodles were 9,500 won until early September 2026 and 10,000 won in posts from 22 September and 4 October. Two posts give a bill: 43,500 won for four dishes and a beer, and 19,000 won for one person's noodles with extra noodles, shrimp dumplings and rice. Four posts call it good value.
- Sixteen posts give the same hours: daily 11:30 to 21:30, a 15:00 to 17:00 break on weekdays only, last order 21:00. Most copied this from map or Instagram listings. One post notes a closure on Chuseok day.
- The phone number 0507-1333-9256 is copied in many posts. One copied listing says reservations are possible, but no one wrote about booking; everyone who mentions getting in did so by queueing.
- No post describes going with children. One mentions seeing child tableware; a high chair appears only in copied listings.
- Six posts carry the same block of hashtags; one of them declares it was sponsored and another that the meal was free. We did not count the TV appearances or the 'domestic ingredients' claim, since those come from the restaurant itself.
