SZIMPATIKUS

심퍼티쿠시 성수점 Simpeotikusi Seongsu-jeom Szimpatikus is the Hungarian word for 'likeable' or 'congenial'; none of the posts say why the house chose it.

Compiled from 16 blog posts read in fullSources →

Szimpatikus Seongsu is a pasta-and-risotto restaurant on the third floor of a building right by Exit 8 of Ttukseom Station. The menu puts Korean ingredients like brisket, bracken, pollock roe, kimchi and perilla oil into Western dishes. In posts from mid-September on, the chili-oil pollock-roe cream pasta and the brisket-and-bracken oil pasta are 23,500 won and the short-rib risotto is 39,000 won. We read 30 posts dated 10 August to 5 October 2026. We set aside 8 that were about other branches (Seoul Station, Yeouido, Gwanghwamun, Eastpole, Yongsan) and didn't count 6 that only introduced the place or named it in a diary. That leaves 16 posts from people who went. Many went for a wedding-invitation get-together, and 7 say they went with friends.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. The window seats are the draw. Nine posts mention the floor-to-ceiling windows, and three say you can watch Line 2 trains pass outside. Those seats go to people who book: one post says every window table was reserved and the room was full on a Monday, and another says walk-ins were seated further inside.
  2. Seven posts say they booked ahead. One says Naver booking took a 20,000-won deposit, refunded after the meal. Several posts copy the shop's note that it takes bookings through Naver and CatchTable.
  3. Four posts mention a compartment by the table for your bag. Two say you order on a tablet at the table.
  4. Six posts say it is close to Ttukseom Station. One warns that it is near Ttukseom, not Seongsu Station, about three minutes on foot. Another says the back door off the side street looked like a staff-only entrance, so use the building's front door.

  1. People disagree on portions: three posts found them small, two found them large. One of the two was talking about the basil mozzarella salad, which they couldn't finish.
  2. Two posts from late September say they got the new chili corn ribs (11,500 won) free by posting a review on Instagram.

Posts saying you can park2 of 16 posts

Many posts say the building car park gives 90 minutes free, but most are copying the shop's notice. Two say in their own words that parking works; none say what they actually paid. One post copied a different line, pointing to nearby public car parks.

Getting inside

Lift to the floor1 of 16 posts
Step-free access1 of 16 posts
Toilet insideyes 0 · no 1 (of 16 posts read)

The restaurant is on the third floor. Eight posts describe going up to the third floor, and one says they took the lift.

One post says they got in with a stroller and that high chairs were available. Nobody mentions a step at the entrance or coming in by wheelchair. That doesn't mean there's a problem, only that we don't know.

The toilets seem to be the building's, outside the restaurant. One post says they are separate, inside the building, and need a door code; another says there is a clean toilet on the same floor. Nobody mentions separate men's and women's rooms or an accessible toilet.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 22 posts we gathered, 6 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

2026-09-302 posts in one day

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Posts split one to one on the lobster bisque rosé pasta: one found it too salty, the other had read it was salty and disagreed.
  • Two posts found the staff friendly. One says their server forgot the pickles, forgot the wine, and at the till forgot the mouthwash they had asked for.
  • Prices went up between August and September. Posts from 10–11 August list the pollock-roe cream pasta at 22,500 won; posts from 18 September on list it at 23,500. The cabbage salad went from 18,000 to 19,000 won, and the shrimp oil pasta from 21,000 to 21,500. One 1 October post gives lower prices (17,000 and 22,000 won), but its address and phone number don't match the other posts either, so we didn't rely on it. One post calls the prices reasonable.
  • No post describes waiting in line. One went around 6:30 pm and found it quiet; another found it full on a Monday. Nobody says how long a walk-in might wait.
  • Nine posts give opening hours, almost all copied from listings: eight say 11:30–22:00, one says 11:30–22:30. Six give a 15:00–16:30 break, three of them saying weekdays only. Four give last orders at 14:00 for lunch and 21:00 for dinner. No post mentions a closing day.
  • Four posts give the phone number as 0507-1337-7679; one gives a different number. Bookings are taken through Naver and CatchTable.
  • The wedding-invitation promotion (show a printed invitation between 14 September and 13 October for a glass of wine each and a chocolate cake) is copied from the shop's notice; two posts say they actually received it.
