Japanese

Seusicheukamu Seoulsupjeom

스시츠카무 서울숲점 Tsukamu is Japanese for 'to grab' or 'to hold in the hand'; one blogger guessed the name refers to sushi handed over as it is shaped by hand.

Compiled from 10 blog posts read in fullSources →

A conveyor-belt sushi bar on the basement floor of D Tower Seoul Forest, connected to Seoulsup Station. You pick plates off the belt or order single plates on the seat tablet; two pieces of grilled blackthroat seaperch cost 14,900 won, the oversized egg or eel sushi 4,500–4,600 won. One post says it opened on 15 August 2026. We read 15 posts dated 27 February to 3 October 2026; 10 of them (16 August to 3 October) are about this branch and all describe an actual meal. The other 5 were about other branches (Yeouido, Parnas Mall, Daejeon) or a neighbouring restaurant in the same building.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Of 9 posts that describe ordering, 8 used the tablet at each seat. Plates do circulate on the belt, but one post said most diners order instead, and another thought the belt plates differed slightly from the tablet menu. Three posts noted that sushi is shaped to order.
  2. Of 9 posts touching on price, 5 called it expensive. Two meal totals are given: five plates for 'almost 40,000 won' at a work lunch, and about 130,000 won for two adults and a child sharing 17 plates plus beer. The 'good value' remarks come from posts that repeat the shop's own promotional copy, so we did not count them.
  3. Two posts came with children. One was given child-sized tableware on sitting down and had fries made without salt, and mentions a kids' set of shrimp, egg and Spam sushi. The other found the room spacious enough to bring a stroller in easily.

One post actually parked and found the D Tower car park spacious. The 'two hours free' figure appears only in two copied info blocks, so we didn't rely on it.

Getting inside

In a basement5 of 10 posts
Step-free access1 of 10 posts

Five posts describe going down to the basement floor; one took the escalator. Nobody said whether there is a lift.

One post found it easy to bring a stroller in. Nobody mentioned an entrance step or coming in a wheelchair — that means we don't know, not that there is none.

No post says whether the toilet is inside the restaurant or separated by sex. We don't know.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • Three posts say in their own words that the building connects underground to Seoulsup Station. The '1 minute' and 'about 3 minutes from exit 4' figures sit in copied info blocks, so we didn't count them. Nobody described getting there by bus.
  • Only one post mentions waiting: arriving around 12:30 on a weekend, they walked straight in, but it soon filled and a queue formed. Two more posts found it busier than expected at lunch without having to wait. Nobody described where or how you wait.
  • Company varies: 3 posts went as a couple, 2 with family and children, 1 with a friend, 1 as a work lunch. No one went alone; one post only guessed the layout suits solo diners.
  • Six posts give opening hours, all copied from listings: 11:00–22:00 in five, 11:00–21:00 in one, with last orders at 21:00 in three. Nobody mentions a closing day.
  • Prices come from posts dated September–October 2026. One post gave the mega tamago as 4,500 won where another said 4,600. One post says plate colour sets the price, but nobody reproduced the colour chart.
  • Three posts copied the phone number 02-6233-7640. Nobody said whether it takes reservations; one post only suggested checking the queue on CatchTable.
  • Five of the 10 visit posts (four from 9–10 September 2026, one from 3 October) repeat the same ingredient list and menu blurb in the same order, and one says it 'topped up with its own money', suggesting a provided meal. We did not count praise that overlaps with that copy. One self-paid post outside this group said the curing on the fish was barely there and that they would not return.
