SUAGE

스아게 성수점 Suage Seongsu Suage (素揚げ) is Japanese for frying an ingredient bare, without batter — one post explains that this is how the vegetables in the curry are cooked.

A Sapporo-style soup curry shop on the second floor of a building in an alley right by Exit 7 of Ttukseom Station (Line 2). You pick a curry — chicken leg, chicken skewer, vegetable, kakuni pork belly or Hawaiian shrimp — choose a spice level and rice size, and order from a tag or QR code on the table. On an August 2026 menu, a bowl ran from 13,000 won (vegetable) to 15,000 won (Hawaiian shrimp), with cheese rice 1,000 won extra. We read 30 posts dated 24 December 2024 to 26 September 2026. We set aside 14 that were about Suage shops in Sapporo or Tokyo, the Gangnam or Daechi branches, or the lamb-skewer place on the ground floor, and 2 that only introduced or listed the shop. That leaves 14 posts from people who ate here, from December 2025 to September 2026.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. You order from your phone at the table. Nine of the 14 posts from diners ordered via an NFC tag or QR code — put your phone on the tag and the menu pops up. In one post the tag didn't work and a staff member brought a QR code; another says you can ask for a QR code.
  2. Eight posts said it is close to the subway. Most named Exit 7 of Ttukseom Station — visible as soon as you come out — while one post said Exit 8.
  3. Waits were short. Five posts said they walked straight in — a quiet Saturday evening, Saturday just after 1 pm, a weekday lunch. One post arriving at 11:30 on a weekday saw a queue form as they left; two others only guessed there might be a wait at lunch.
  4. You pick a spice level, and posts disagree on how hot it is. Two found it spicy (level 3 was plenty for one; level 5 was pleasantly hot for another), three found it mild (one at level 5 was brought extra shichimi because it wasn't hot enough), and one said level 6 was about as hot as Shin Ramyun.
3 more
  1. Three posts said portions are large. One chose 'extra rice' and got a truly huge mound; another was still full at 9 pm after lunch. You can choose small, regular or large rice.
  2. Two posts read the origin labels: one noticed at the counter that the chicken is Brazilian; another noted that only the sausage and rice are Korean, everything else imported.
  3. Three posts ate alone. One mentioned wall-facing solo seats; another liked being able to plug in a charger at the seat. Two posts in all mentioned charging at the table.

Getting inside

Second floor5 of 14 posts
Lift to the flooryes 0 · no 1 (of 14 posts read)

The shop is upstairs, and the entrance keeps tripping people up. Five posts said it is on the second floor, and three remarked on the entrance: the door is round the side, the stairway makes you wonder if you're in the right place, it took a moment to find. One post noted the door stays shut even during opening hours — only the sign flips to 'open' — so just walk in.

No post mentioned getting in with a wheelchair or stroller, or a step at the door. One post said you have to take the stairs to the second floor; none mentioned a lift.

No one said whether the toilet is inside the shop or separated by gender. One post only warned it might not be clean because the building is old.

No one mentioned: In a basement · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 16 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Opening hours changed between December 2025 and 2026. A post from 20 December 2025 listed Mon–Sat 11:00–21:00, Sunday 12:00–21:00, break 14:30–17:00. Three posts from August–September 2026 list Tue–Fri 11:00–21:00 (last order 20:20), Sunday 12:00–15:00, break 15:00–17:00, closed Mondays; Saturday closing is given as 20:50 by two and 21:00 by one. All of these were copied into info boxes, so check before going.
  • The chicken-leg curries went up. A June 2026 post showed the fried chicken leg curry at 12,500 won on the menu board; an August 2026 post listed 13,500 won, and a September post paid 13,500 won for the boiled leg and skewer curries. One post of 26 September listed the boiled leg at 12,500 won. Kakuni (14,500), vegetable (13,000) and shrimp (15,000) stayed the same.
  • Two posts gave different phone numbers (010-7754-5023 in December 2025, 010-5833-9455 in June 2026). No one said whether the shop takes reservations.
