Seongsura
성수라 Seongsura joins Seongsu, the neighborhood, with sura, the old word for a royal meal — the menu explains the name as a royal kitchen in Seongsu.

Seongsura is a Korean pub on the second floor of a red-brick building on Wangsimni-ro 4-gil, near exit 7 of Ttukseom station. At lunch it serves only kimchijjim (12,000 won a portion; 11,000 won in a December 2024 post) with rice and seaweed soup, and on weekday lunches it leaves a crock of fresh Inje makgeolli out for guests to help themselves. Dinner is boiled pork with scallion kimchi, spicy octopus, seafood pancake and traditional liquor; from late January 2025 the bossam was 31,000 won and the two-dish friend set 52,000 won. We read 23 posts from December 2024 to September 2026; 4 were about the Euljiro branch and were set aside, and all 19 others describe an actual visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Lunch has a line; dinner mostly does not. Three posts waited — one advises arriving by 11:45 to beat the lunch queue, another waited a little at Friday lunch despite a reservation. Three posts walked straight in, all at dinner (8:10 pm on a Monday, 7 pm on a weekday). Two were inconclusive, such as a waitlist being out but getting seated at once. One writer was turned away at 1:20 pm on a Saturday because the food had sold out.
- Nine posts mention waiting seats on the stairs or by the entrance, and several note a sign-up waitlist beside the door.
- Four posts say the lunch kimchijjim must be ordered one portion per person; one writer went alone and ordered a single portion. Side dishes come in small saucers, and four posts got refills.
- Five posts call the portions large — one found a third row of pork hidden under the bossam, another couple could not finish the friend set. One post noted the lunch rice bowl is only about half a bowl, so expect to refill.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 7 of 19 posts |
|---|---|
| Toilet inside | yes 0 · no 3 (of 19 posts read) |
| Separate restrooms | 2 of 19 posts |
It is upstairs: seven posts describe climbing to the second floor, two of them by the stairs.
We don't know whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. Posts say it is on the second floor up a flight of stairs, but no one mentions an elevator or a step at the door — that means no one wrote about it, not that there is none.
The restroom is outside the dining room: three posts say so and none say otherwise. Two posts note separate men's and women's rooms, and one was pleased that the outside restroom is kept warm with a radiator.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- Opening hours appear to have changed in autumn 2025. Posts through August 2025 list Monday–Saturday 11:30–22:30, closed Sundays; posts from September 2025 and August 2026 say it closes both Saturday and Sunday. Most give a 15:00–17:30 break, two say 15:00–17:00, and the August 2026 post says 14:00–17:30. One February 2025 post alone says closed Mondays. Most of this is copied listing info, so check before going.
- Prices rose in early 2025. A December 2024 menu showed the bossam at 29,000 won, the friend set at 46,000 and house makgeolli at 5,000; from late January 2025 posts show 31,000, 52,000 and 6,000. Lunch kimchijjim went from 11,000 won (December 2024) to 12,000 won (February 2025 to August 2026). Two posts called it good value; none called it expensive.
- Accounts of the staff differ. Three posts found them kind. One solo diner felt a staff member visibly disliked serving a lone guest, and one regular stopped coming for a while because of a server who tossed bowls onto tables, returning once he was gone.
- Seven posts give the phone number as 0507-1312-6769; one gives 02-2088-6767. Three posts made a reservation and were seated on arrival. Promotional lines from the house — every recipe made in-house, seaweed soup with Gijang seaweed and beef shank — recur almost word for word across posts, so we did not count them. One post says the meal was partly provided.
