Sapdari Gopchang

삽다리곱창 Gopchang is pork small intestine, grilled or stir-fried with vegetables; Sapdari is a proper name the posts never explain.

Compiled from 21 blog posts read in fullSources →

Sapdari Gopchang is an old-style pork intestine house on Sangwon-gil in Seongsu, a short walk from Ttukseom Station exit 5. The core is stir-fried yachae-gopchang from the griddle by the door (11,000 won a portion in posts from July 2026) and makchang grilled in the back kitchen (13,000 won), with spicy gopchang, pork skirt, jowl stir-fry, pork skin and cartilage alongside, and a 3,000-won fried rice to finish. It opens at 4 pm and closes at 11 pm, the first order is two portions minimum, and greens come from a self-serve bar. We read 30 posts from December 5, 2025 to October 3, 2026; we set aside three about same-name shops in Seongnam (Moran) and Asan and two about other shops, leaving 22 first-hand visits.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. The first order must be at least two portions; six posts ran into this. The menu says every dish is a two-portion base, and staff told one writer the two-portion rule applies to the first order only, after which single portions are fine, so many tables mix two portions of makchang with one of gopchang. One post says takeout can be a single portion.
  2. The gopchang is stir-fried on a griddle right at the entrance; six posts watched it being cooked there, and some note that makchang is grilled separately in the back kitchen. People waiting outside can see the cooking through the window, and several writers say the smell in the alley on their way home is what drew them in.
  3. Evenings can mean a wait: six posts waited, two walked straight in. The times given are about 15 minutes around 7 pm on a weekend and 30-40 minutes just after 8 pm on a Friday. One group that arrived around 5 pm on a Friday saw every table full by 6-6:30, and another that sat right away after work saw the crowd arrive after 7. There is no waitlist system, so posts advise coming early.
  4. Extra greens come from a self-serve bar, as 16 posts describe. The table gets lettuce, perilla, carrot, garlic, chili, salt and a red dipping sauce; the bar adds more perilla, ssamjang, bean-sprout soup and the red sauce. The soup is not brought to the table, so you fetch it yourself.

  1. It is walkable from Ttukseom Station: seven posts walked from the station, estimates ranging from one minute to five from exit 5. One writer walked over from Seongsu Station.
  2. Most say no off smell: eight posts found none, two noticed some, two were in between. One of the two found a slight gamey note in the makchang and gopchang; the other liked the makchang's mild funk. One writer noted a colleague at the same table smelled it while she did not.
  3. The gopchang, the chili gopchang and the sauced pork skin read as hot: six posts said so, one found it milder than expected. One table ordered it less spicy and still found it very hot; another compared the chili version to Buldak. A posted note says heat can be adjusted, but that is the shop's own sign and we did not count it.

Parking

Posts saying you cannot1 of 21 posts

Only one post speaks to parking from experience: no lot of its own, the SK Technovil building garage opposite is pricey and public parking is far. Many posts repeat 'no parking' from the map listing, and one passes on hearsay that a single car can park at the building; we counted neither.

Getting inside

Toilet insideyes 0 · no 1 (of 21 posts read)

No post says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in - that is unknown, not absent. One post places it on the ground floor of a building on the main road.

Only one post mentions the restroom, listing as a downside that it is outside the shop. No one says whether it is separated by gender.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 24 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Prices read as cheap but went up between spring and summer 2026: posts through May list gopchang at 10,000 won and makchang at 12,000, posts from July at 11,000 and 13,000. One August post still lists 10,000 for gopchang; we cannot tell when that visit was. No post calls it expensive and 12 call it easy on the wallet, while one felt the portion was thin for the price. For a full meal, two people paid 52,000 won for two makchang, one gopchang, fried rice, a soju and two beers (March 2026), and three paid 37,000 won for two makchang and one gopchang (August 2026).
  • Portions split: five posts found them generous, one found the gopchang much smaller than expected, two said it depended on the dish - one noting two portions of makchang were modest while a single gopchang was larger than expected.
  • Opening hours appear in 18 posts, all 4 pm to 11 pm and closed Sundays, though most copy the map listing. Seven posts add that it also closes on the third Monday of each month; one says the third Saturday instead. No post mentions a break time or last order.
  • No post says whether reservations are taken. Several posts give the phone number 02-468-9985, and one says a takeout order phoned in is ready to collect in 15 minutes.
  • One July 2026 post says the taste slipped after a change of owner and the writer moved to another gopchang shop. No other post confirms an owner change or its timing, so we did not put it on the timeline.
  • Shops with the same name exist in Moran (Seongnam) and Asan; three posts about those were set aside as not about this shop.
