Foreplan is a cafe dressed up as an architects' office, tucked down an alley near exit 2 of Ttukseom Station. An americano is 4,600 won and a cafe latte 5,000 won; the summer special added in July 2026, a blue lagoon soft-serve, is 6,800 won, and The Cabin, a house-shaped chocolate mousse cake, is 13,500 won. Many people come to work on laptops, and seating is limited to three hours. We read 30 posts dated 21 June to 4 October 2026; 24 describe an actual visit. What sets it apart
- Seats are yours for three hours. Five posts mention the three-hour limit, one saying it is posted in the cafe. A post that found the place busy even late on a weekday evening read it as a way to let everyone share the space.
- It is a quiet room. Nine posts call it quiet, mostly because the other customers are reading or working on laptops. One parent wrote that it is not a place for group chatter, so they ate quietly and left. Four posts actually used the power outlets, and one noted the outlet seats were nearly all taken after 3 p.m. on a weekend.
- The ceilings are high. Seven posts mention them and seven say the space is large. Several note that the ordering counter is separated from the seating by a door, so you feel less watched by staff; one describes a calm main room and an annex with a pitched ceiling and big tables for four to six. Of the 27 posts we gathered, 5 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

What we do not know
- Opinions on sweetness differ: five posts say not too sweet, two say sweet. The same Cabin cake was 'sweet' to one poster and 'not too sweet' to another. One post alone called the blue lagoon soda-flavoured; the rest describe milk.
- The blue lagoon soft-serve was launched as a summer-only item. Someone ate it as late as 10 September, but we do not know whether it is still sold. Eleven of the posts about it, written between 8 and 29 July 2026, repeat the same phrases in the same order (blue spirulina, all desserts handmade, cafe by day and bar by night). None disclose sponsorship, but we treated those lines as the cafe's own copy and did not count them.
- Thirteen visit posts give the hours as 10:00 to 21:00, and eight give a last order of 20:40, several of them copied from an info block. One says it never closes for a holiday. Many posts mention an evening bar, but all of it is hearsay; no one went at night, and the 'bar 19:00 to 24:00' figure appears only in listing posts by people who had not visited.
- Only one post commented on value, calling the prices 'not bad for Seongsu'. The 13,500-won Cabin and 5,500-won chocolate latte come from a single October post, so we cannot compare them with earlier prices. A 10% discount for local workers and residents is the cafe's own notice, copied into posts, and we did not count it.
- Seven posts give the phone number 0507-1305-7686. Two give other numbers, one from a listing post by someone who had not visited and one copied alongside a wrong address. No one says whether reservations are taken by phone; same-day cake requests are said to go through Instagram DM.
- No post reports waiting. One says there was no queue just after lunch on a weekend, and others found it quiet around noon or 1 p.m. Posts also say it fills up in the evening and on weekend afternoons, so we cannot say whether you will find a seat then.
- Company is mixed and thinly reported: three posts went with family (two of them with children), two with a partner, one with friends and one with a group of colleagues. The rest did not say.
