Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

These hours are counted from the posts we read. Shops change them without notice — check Naver Place before you go. Place — check hours

What sets it apart

  1. Expect a wait at the lunch peak. Three posts waited: about 30 minutes at noon on a weekday, about 10 minutes outside at a full lunch service, and one that arrived for the 11:30 opening, saw the tables fill by 11:31 and every seat taken with people queueing outside by 11:40. The two posts that walked straight in came at 5:30 pm on a Saturday, just as the afternoon break ended, and on a weekday evening. One post says to order at the kiosk inside first and wait with your receipt; it counted about four chairs outside, though in the rain everyone stood.
  2. They will adjust the seasoning. Several posts say staff ask you to speak up if the ramen is too salty or too bland. The two posts that found it salty both asked and were given extra broth to thin it to taste. One post found neither of its two bowls salty.
  3. Five posts called something spicy: four were talking about the haejang ramen, one about the bibim gyoza and a hint of mala in the maze soba. One post that ate the haejang ramen disagreed, finding it milder than it looks.
  4. Three posts noted thick chashu on the tonkotsu, one saying it had never seen chashu that thick in ramen. Several also pointed to the house-made pork meatball in the bowl as what sets it apart.
  5. It is not bar-only: seven posts describe tables alongside the bar. Most put the table count at two (two four-tops, or one four-top and one two-top); one post alone counted about four four-person tables. One post mentions clear dividers between the single bar seats.
  6. Five posts describe the room as small. One notes bags go under your chair and that chargers, aprons and wet wipes are self-serve.
  7. Five posts found the prices easy, several calling a 10,000-won bowl in Seongsu good value.

Getting inside

No post describes the floor level or any steps from experience; the '1st floor' in the address is only the address. We don't know, rather than know there are none.

No post says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller got in. We don't know. All we have is that the room is small and mostly bar seating.

No post mentions this shop's toilet. We don't know whether it is inside, whether it is split by gender, or whether a wheelchair can use it — nobody wrote about it, which is not the same as there being none.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 15 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Five posts list opening hours, all copied from an info block rather than observed. All five agree on Mon-Sat 11:30-20:00 with a 15:00-17:30 break. Sunday is split: three say closed, two say 11:30-17:00, all from July to September 2026.
  • A July 2026 post noted a 500-won price rise, but every post from April on already gives 10,000 won for ramen and none records the old price, so we can't date the change.
  • Four posts are round-ups written without visiting; one pastes in Naver visitor reviews wholesale, the only source of a line about the shop's earlier years in Ssangmun-dong. We did not count these. Five more are diary entries with a line or two each, which we counted only as visits.
