Cafe

Caffe del Cotone

카페 델 꼬또네 성수점 Kape Del Kkotone Seongsujeom Caffè del Cotone is Italian for 'Cotone's café' (cotone means cotton); one post explains the living-goods brand Cotone runs it as an Italian-style espresso bar.

An espresso café on the ground floor of an apartment-complex arcade on Sangwon 1-gil, between Ttukseom Station and Seoul Forest. It shares the building with a flagship store for the bag brand Sweetch, whose bags fill the stairs, basement and upper floor. You pick your bean when ordering; two posts list an iced americano at 5,500 won and decaf at 6,500 won. People sit on sofas over coffee and desserts like apple pie or affogato. We read 22 posts dated 5 July to 5 October 2026; 12 were about this café and 11 describe an actual visit. The other 10 only linked to it from posts about other places, or covered the brand's Bukchon branch.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Space is what people mention most: 5 of the 11 visit posts call it roomy, one praising the wide gaps between tables. Roomy isn't the same as easy to find a seat, though. One post found it nearly full after lunch, and another warned that the big chairs leave few seats, so come early.
  2. Four posts call it quiet. One says the calm music kept guests hushed even with every seat taken, and another found the regular tables full of people studying. One post noted that the big speaker next to the sofas was fairly loud.
  3. Seating centres on sofas, which three posts found comfortable. But two posts say the sofa and window seats are shared tables with other parties: one found sitting face to face with strangers a bit awkward, the other didn't mind because the room is so big.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

Toilet inside3 of 10 posts
Separate restrooms1 of 10 posts

No visitor wrote which floor the café seating is on; the address says ground floor. Four posts mention the Sweetch bag store on the basement and/or second floor, though they disagree on which.

Nobody wrote about a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller — we simply don't know. Two posts say you climb stairs to reach the restroom. One post saw other guests seated with a baby.

Three posts say the restroom is inside the building. Two place it on the stair landing toward the second floor; one says it is split by gender and kept clean.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 11 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • No one described the walk from the station themselves. The directions 'four minutes from Ttukseom exit 6' and 'very close to exit 2' appear in copied info blocks, so we don't rely on them.
  • No post describes queuing to get in, though two say seats were hard to find.
  • Only two posts say who they went with: one with friends, one on a date.
  • Opening hours disagree. Four posts list 8am–9pm daily (last order 8:30pm), all copied from the Naver listing; one post wrote 8am–7pm daily with no days off. If you're going in the evening, check first.
  • Only three posts give prices: iced americano 5,500 won, decaf 6,500, cioccolato 6,500, caffè tenero latte 7,000, apple pie 7,500. One post found the coffee fairly cheap, but no one listed the full menu. The 15% takeout discount is copied from the listing in one post.
  • Two posts copied the phone number 0507-1303-1347. Nobody said whether it takes reservations.
  • Accounts differ on pickup: one post got a panda-printed buzzer, another had no buzzer and had to listen for staff calling out the order.
