Compiled from 10 blog posts read in fullSources →

The Seongsu branch of the Ha Yeong-ho Sinchon Seolleongtang chain, inside the Seoul Forest AK Valley office complex at 99 Seongsu-il-ro. The menu centres on ox-bone seolleongtang, with gomtang, yukgaejang and short-rib soup, dumplings, boiled beef, a shared eobok platter and braised ribs, plus cold soy-milk noodles and naengmyeon in summer. We read 24 posts from 13 July to 2 October 2026; three were about other restaurants and two only listed the menu, leaving 19 that describe a meal. All 19 had the seolleongtang, and 10 added dumplings. Not one post gave a price.

What sets it apart

  1. Posts keep saying the broth is not heavy: three said it was not greasy or cloying, and none said it was. The two posts that mentioned off smells both said there were none.
  2. One post noticed plenty of takeout and delivery orders on the way out; it is the only post to mention takeout.

Things you can check on site

  • Takeout 1 of 10 posts

These are raw counts, not percentages. Someone who did not mention something is not someone who disagreed.

The most ordered dish is seolleongtang (설렁탕) — 19 of 10 posts.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

Where it is

Map showing where Hayeongho Sinchon Seolleongtang Seongsu-jeom is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

No post described which floor the restaurant is on from experience; only the address says ground floor, unit 104.

Nobody mentioned a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. That means unknown, not absent.

No post said where the toilet is or whether it is separated by gender.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 12 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Many of these posts look commissioned: 15 end with the same five hashtags in the same order, all fall between July and October 2026, and none gives a price. None discloses sponsorship. Praise such as 'clean' (five posts) and 'friendly staff' (four) comes from this group, so weigh it lightly.
  • We do not know the prices: none of the 21 posts about this branch gives a menu price or the cost of a meal.
  • Opening hours come only from one post that copied the listing (weekdays 10:00-22:00, Saturday 10:00-15:00, closed Sunday); no one confirmed them first-hand.
  • The only phone number, 0507-1384-4708, was copied by one post; no one said whether reservations are taken.
  • No post described the walk from a subway station or bus stop; one only said they had met friends near Seongsu Station.
  • No post mentioned queuing. One said it was busy at lunch but food came out promptly. That means nobody wrote about a wait, not that there is none.
  • Only two posts said who they came with, one with a friend and one with family; we cannot say how it suits solo diners.
