할머니의 레시피 Halmeoni-ui resipi means 'Grandmother's Recipe' — the posts describe it as home-style Korean set meals.
Compiled from 8 blog posts read in fullSources →
A Korean set-meal restaurant at 44-12 Seoulsup 2-gil, in the café lane beside Seoul Forest. The core is a tray meal: a main such as spicy pork, Korean-beef tteokgalbi or bulgogi, served with rice, soup and small side dishes; prices in the posts that ate there run 12,000-17,000 won. One post describes it as a converted Western-style house. We read 25 posts dated 12 Aug to 4 Oct 2026: 6 were not about this place, 10 were lists or guides, and 9 record an actual meal (one of them looks back on a 2025 visit).

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Three of the posts that ate here bring up the windows: one sat by the window watching the street, another called the view through the full-height glass superb, a third mentions seeing the trees of Seoul Forest.
- Two posts mention waiting: one found a queue even at a late Sunday lunch; the other walked straight in but said the place is small and there is usually a wait at mealtimes. Both describe a separate waiting area downstairs, one calling the basement waiting room cool and convenient. No post gives a wait time in minutes.
- Two posts from August 2026 noted many foreign diners; one added that some items, such as extra lettuce for wraps, cost extra.
- Two posters were repeat visitors: one always orders the mushroom-and-chive bibimbap and said food came quickly; the other, back after a long gap, ordered the tteokgalbi and pork-wrap sets.
1 more
- One post said portions were huge and prices cheap; another felt the place aims for quality over quantity. On portion size it is one post against one.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
Two posts mention a lower floor holding the toilet and waiting area. None says whether the dining room itself is on the ground floor or below.
No post mentions a step at the door, stairs, or entering with a wheelchair or stroller. Since the waiting area and toilet are said to be one floor down there may be stairs, but we do not know whether there is a lift.
The only first-hand note on the toilet is one post saying it is one floor down. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in a copied info block, which we did not count.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 18 posts we gathered, 10 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
| 2026-10-04 | 4 posts in one day |

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Prices vary slightly by post. The pork-wrap set is 15,000 won in four posts and 17,000 won in one October guide; the bibimbap-bulgogi set was 13,000 won for the poster who ate it (18 Aug) but 15,000 won in two posts copying menu data; the bone soup splits between 12,000 and 14,000 won. We cannot tell whether prices rose or the sources differ.
- Opening hours appear in eight posts, all copied: six say 11:00-21:00 daily, two say until 21:10, and seven agree on a 15:30-16:40 break; three give last orders at 15:00 and 20:30. The restaurant's 2020 Instagram listed 11:30-15:00 and 17:00-22:00 with Tuesdays closed; one August 2026 post repeated that, but we treat it as outdated.
- Being near Seoul Forest Station exit 5 is stated only in introductions; no post describes the walk from a station or bus stop. That means nobody wrote about it, not that it is far.
- Three posts say who they went with: one alone, two with friends. None went with family or children; 'good for parents' comes only from introductions.
- Two phone numbers circulate: 0507-1429-5101 (three posts) and 02-467-5101 (two). No post reports making a reservation; one says it heard the birthday table must be booked a day ahead.
- Several of the ten introductions were plainly written without a visit: one speaks of what it 'imagines' and 'resolves to try' while claiming a tourist surge and early sell-outs of the bone soup; another says the place was selected by the Michelin Guide's The Plate. We treat these as copied claims, not evidence.
