Edisseun Bai Daen Seongsujeom
에디슨바이댄 성수점 The name reads as the English words 'Edison by Dan'; none of the posts explain it, and 'Seongsu-jeom' marks the Seongsu branch (a casual branch also runs in Suwon).

A steak-and-pasta place on the second floor (unit 201) of an old house at Seoulsup 2-gil 15-12. In posts from May and June 2026, chicken steak is 23,000 won, bacon steak 24,000 won and ragu rigatoni 20,000 won, and many tables add the mushroom fritters (15,000 won) or a half Caesar salad (10,000 won). We read 12 posts dated 30 April to 29 September 2026. Three were about the Suwon Time Villas branch and were dropped, two were multi-venue list posts we did not count, and seven describe an actual meal here.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Both posts that ordered the mushroom fritters said they were crisp, with juice bursting from the mushrooms. One found only button and shiitake on the plate, no oyster mushrooms despite the menu description, and said the order had not gone through, so it only arrived after they asked at the end of the meal.
- No post mentions waiting. Two said it was quiet: few customers at a late weekday lunch, and a near-empty room on a weekend evening. One that arrived around weekday opening time found a few tables already taken. One post booked through the DatePop app.
- Two posts come from repeat visitors: one returning after a first visit in September 2024, another who says they have been many times and recommends the ragu, chicken steak, fried onions and ale. One post said cooking smells and smoke drifted into the dining room and it would not go back.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 2 of 7 posts |
|---|
The restaurant is up a flight of stairs on the second floor, as two posts describe. One recognised the old house's staircase from a cafe that used to occupy the same floor; the other noted a sandwich board by the ground-floor door and celebrity autographs lining the stairwell.
Two posts place it on the second floor and none mention a basement. One says the stairs further up to the rooftop are steep.
Posts mention climbing stairs to the second floor, but nobody says whether there is a lift, a step at the door, or room for a wheelchair or pushchair. That means we don't know, not that there isn't one.
Nobody describes the toilets, whether inside the restaurant or separated by gender. We don't know.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 9 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Accounts of the rooftop differ. One post describes eating up there and adds that it may be restricted in summer. Another didn't go up because the stairs looked too steep, and a third was seated indoors even though the rooftop is how the place is promoted.
- Only one post covers the walk from the subway, about ten minutes from Ttukseom station. A list post gives Exit 8 and nine minutes, but that reads as copied information and we didn't count it. Nobody mentions buses.
- Company: two posts went with family (a fiancé and younger brother; a group of three including the writer's mother) and two with friends. None went alone.
- Two copied info blocks agree on the hours: 11:30 to 21:30, break 15:00 to 17:00, last order 20:20, closed Mondays. Only one adds a weekday lunch last order of 14:10 and no weekend break, and another post also says there is no break at weekends. None of this was observed first-hand, so check before you go.
- Three posts from May to August 2026 give prices per dish, but none gives a total for a meal. One says weekday lunch sets carry a sizeable discount, and another got a lower price by booking through DatePop.
- The phone number 0507-1366-2365 appears only in one post's copied info block. One post booked via the DatePop app; none describes booking by phone.
- DatePop's 'Seongsu BEST7' list and a visit post booked through DatePop look like part of the same promotion. The visit post leans heavily on hearsay, so we counted only the chicken steak the writer actually ate, plus the booking, discount and rooftop.
