Cinnabon x Latte King
시나본x라떼킹 성수점 Sinabon x Ratteking, Seongsu-jeom Cinnabon is the American cinnamon-roll chain, founded in Seattle in 1985; Latte King is a Korean cheap-coffee chain. This Seongsu shop is the two sharing one counter, run by the same company. Korean writes it 시나본x라떼킹

Cinnabon x Latte King Seongsu is a takeaway coffee-and-pastry counter on the main road between exit 1 at Seoul Forest station and exit 8 at Ttukseom. It is a shared storefront: the American cinnamon roll brand Cinnabon alongside Latte King, a cheap coffee chain, and one post notes the same company runs both here. There is nowhere to sit — you take the coffee and the roll or the egg tart and walk to the park with them. Most posts give eight in the morning on weekdays, eleven at weekends, closing at eight. Takeaway and delivery; the phone number is 070-8657-4857. The posts we read run from August 2025 to September 2026.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- There is nowhere to sit. Eleven posts say so outright — takeaway only, no seats inside, one writer calling it the shop's one shortcoming. One adds that there is at least room to wait; another remembers a large fan by the counter on a hot day. Not one of the twenty ate here — thirteen carry it into Seoul Forest, ten take it home and reheat it. If you want to sit down, this is not the place.
- Nobody calls it expensive. All twelve posts that discuss price say the opposite, and two name the big Korean discount chains to say this undercuts them. But it has gone up. The six posts giving ₩1,500 for an iced americano run from August 2025 to February 2026; the two giving ₩1,800 are both from September 2026. The mini rolls moved too — the classic from ₩4,800 to ₩4,900, the chocolate from ₩5,400 to ₩5,600, the caramel pecan full-size from ₩7,600 to ₩7,900, all between November 2025 and February 2026. The egg tart, by contrast, is ₩2,800 in August 2025 and ₩2,800 in April 2026, with the box of four steady at ₩9,800. What is cheap here is the coffee; the Cinnabon side runs to ₩7,000-odd a roll and ₩20,000-odd a box, so the coffee price is a poor guide to the bill.
- Five posts mention that a receipt review on Naver earns you a free egg tart — three from August 2025, one from September, one from May 2026, so it seems to have run for a while. It is worth holding in mind while reading about this place: the egg tart is the thing most of these writers ate, and some of those tarts were given in exchange for the review you are reading. One post says in its title that she paid her own way, then praises a tart she was given for the review. Only one post declares a sponsorship outright, but how many of the sixteen silent ones took the tart we could not determine.
- The posts split in two. One kind buys coffee and walks into Seoul Forest — thirteen write about a picnic, a stroll or a day out. The other buys a box of cinnamon rolls as a present; eleven use the word gift. The coffee writers talk about price, the pastry writers about packaging: six admire the mint-coloured box and paper bag, five note that nothing shifted inside it on the way home. Ten say to reheat it, and every one gives a different number — fifteen to twenty seconds in the microwave, thirty, thirty to fifty, forty, or four minutes at 170°C in an air fryer. Two mention that the box itself says, in large letters, to warm it up.
- You walk to it. Fifteen posts say the subway will do, and the ones that give distances broadly agree: 233 or 236 metres, three to four minutes, from exit 1 at Seoul Forest on the Suin-Bundang line; 449 metres, five minutes, from exit 8 at Ttukseom on line 2. Five use the district sports centre as the landmark; one puts the park itself eight minutes further on. Two say it stands out from a distance and is easy to find first time.
- The offers change constantly. Each post describes a different one: an americano with an egg tart for ₩3,400 or with a mini roll for ₩5,000 (August 2025 and February 2026); three cookies for the price of two (February 2026); the 1.4-litre coffee at ₩3,900 with a free tart for posting about it, running to 14 April 2026; a ten percent coupon for ordering through Naver (September 2026). So any price you read here has to be read with its date — the same item appears at both promotional and standard prices.
- You order from a screen. Three posts say so, and one adds that the seasonal drinks are not on the printed board — look at the kiosk. Another noticed how many people order ahead through Naver and simply collect, and liked not having to install the chain's own app to do it.

Parking
9 posts say you cannot park. None say you can.

There is no car park. Nine posts say so, in the usual shorthand — no parking, use the paid lots nearby, use the municipal one. Three name the same place: the district sports centre car park, which one post prices at ₩2,100 for thirty minutes while another simply turned around after collecting an order and paid nothing. Three minutes' walk from there to the counter. Worth knowing before you drive.

Naver Map has a full English mode — Settings → Language → English. In Korea it gives better walking and transit directions than Google Maps.

Not one post says whether a wheelchair or a pushchair gets in. Several note it is on the ground floor, and the address says so too, but nothing in the twenty tells us about a threshold, a step at the door, or how wide the door is. What is certain is that you order, wait and leave — so one of a party could go in while the others wait outside. To be sure, ring 070-8657-4857 and ask.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 30 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Exactly one post mentions a toilet, and all it says is that there is one in the building — which reads as the building's, not the shop's, though it does not say where it is or whether you may use it. The other nineteen do not mention a toilet at all, probably because nobody stays long in a place with no seats. This is not a statement that there is no toilet; it is a statement that we do not know.
- The hours changed once. Four posts from April 2025 — when the shop still traded as Latte King Seongsu, before the Cinnabon tie-up — give 8am to 7pm every day. From July 2025 onward sixteen posts agree on 8 to 8 on weekdays, 11 to 8 at weekends and on public holidays. So the collaboration bought an extra hour at night and cost three in the morning at weekends — which matters a great deal if you were planning to pick up coffee early on a Saturday. One post disagrees: 1 February 2026 gives 11am to 9.30pm every day. Three other posts from that same month give the 8am weekday opening, so it is hard to read as a change. We could not establish which is right. Not one of the twenty-seven posts mentions a break, a last order or a regular closing day.
- One post declares a sponsorship and three declare that they paid. The sponsored one, from November 2025, says she was given a variety box and an iced americano as part of a tasting invitation. But four posts about that same box went up that week — the 11th, the 13th, the 13th and the 14th. All four reproduce the same brand copy almost word for word (the Ooey Gooey dough, the top-grade Makara cinnamon from Indonesia, the vanilla-and-lemon cream cheese frosting) and all four list the same four prices. Only one of them says so. What the other three received we do not know; we record only that four people wrote the same thing about the same box in the same week.
- Three of the twenty-three posts we were given are not accounts of a visit, and we set them aside. The first, from March 2026, praises the new matcha drinks and the cookie at length but records no order, no price and no visit. The second, from November 2025, gives the hours as ten to nine daily, describes a white interior with a glass wall, and writes as though you can eat in — where the other twenty-two all say eight to eight, a black sign, and no seats. The third, from October 2025, is built as a list of questions and answers with general advice about choosing coffee attached, and every fact in it (₩1,500, 236 metres, the hours, the review offer) is on the shop's own listing. None of the three says anything bad about the place — but counting them as visits would make our denominator a lie. So the denominator is twenty, not twenty-three.
- One writer saw a queue. In April 2025 she calls it the busiest of the coffee shops around Ttukseom and notes that people were waiting even though there is nowhere to sit. She does not say how long she waited herself. None of the other twenty-six posts records a wait or a full house — with no seats and everything handed over the counter, a line here presumably moves. The nearest things to it: one writer watched office workers collecting drinks around two in the afternoon, and two describe a commuter rush in the morning.
- It is at street level. All sixteen posts that print the address in their own text give it as 98 Wangsimni-ro, ground floor, and not one mentions an upper floor or a basement. But not one says whether there is a step at the door, or a threshold — nobody counts stairs or measures the doorway. None of the twenty had reason to write about it. That it is on the ground floor is all we can say.
- Only one post is about the service. She is a regular — five visits a week, by her own count — and writes that the person behind the counter offered to bag the bread for her and gave her the extra ice she asked for. The other nineteen say nothing about being served, and nobody complains. One account is not enough to tell you what the service here is like.
