Boksam Sanghoe is a pork bossam house on the second floor of 8 Wangsimni-ro 10-gil in Seongsu-dong. At lunch it serves one-person sets (clear pork soup 11,000 won, bossam set 12,000, garlic or chili bossam set 13,000); at dinner, bossam platters for two or three (plain 35,000, garlic or cheongyang chili 36,000, the table-smoked bossam with cuttlefish and scallop salad 42,000). Dinner platters come with cold buckwheat noodles, shredded scallion and dressed water parsley, and many posts list pickles and a fermented shrimp-roe sauce among the sides. The 48-hour-aged, sous-vide pork and the May 2026 opening are things the staff told diners, not things we could count. We read 30 posts dated 30 July to 4 October 2026. One was about another restaurant and was set aside; the other 29 all describe a visit. Three disclose sponsorship, two say the writer paid, and the rest say nothing.

What sets it apart
- The smoked bossam is finished beside your table. Nine posts ordered the 42,000-won smoked platter, and eight of them describe the owner or staff bringing a smoker to the table, smoking the pork under a lid with applewood and then lifting it. One diner found the smoke subtle rather than overpowering.
- The room is split into separate nooks. Twelve posts describe room-like or partitioned seating; three are explicit that these are not closed rooms with doors, more like spaces divided by walls. Several mention an eight-seat group table at the back, and one calls it a room for four to nine. One diner thought it was a converted house.

It is upstairs. Eighteen posts place it on the second floor. Many describe climbing from the street door past folk-painting-style posters with jokey captions and a gold 福 logo. Posts disagree on whether the sister whelk-and-chicken place is in the basement or on the ground floor.
We don't know whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. Ten posts say they walked up the stairs, and none mentions a lift or ramp. That doesn't mean there is no lift, only that nobody wrote about one.
Four posts say the toilet is inside the restaurant. One says it is split by gender; another wrote that there are men's and women's toilets but they are shared, which leaves it unclear. Nobody mentions an accessible toilet.

What we do not know
- We don't know how long the wait is. No post says they queued. One sponsored post warns of a wait at lunch but doesn't say they experienced it. Two posts mention a waiting area with chairs inside the door, and one couple who arrived before the afternoon break ended were let in to wait with the air conditioning on.
- There is a review contest. Eleven posts saw a notice by the tablets offering a free lunch for two each week to the best reviews, one of which said reviews should include the words Ttukseom station, bossam and lunch. Many of the posts we read end with the same hashtag set, so some were likely written for the contest or for promotion.
- Prices are consistent across posts except for the clear soup. Dinner platters (35,000, 36,000, 42,000, 49,000 won) and lunch sets (11,000 to 13,000) carry the same figures from early August to late September. Most posts list the soup at 11,000 at lunch and 13,000 at dinner, but one lists 13,000 for both, and another says lunch charges the dinner price for a larger bowl. Nobody calls it expensive; four posts say the prices are fair.
- Opening hours disagree on weekends. Nearly every post copies weekdays 11:30 to 22:00 with a 15:00 to 17:00 break and last orders at 21:00. Fifteen say it closes on Sundays, three say it opens at 17:00 on both Saturday and Sunday, two say it opens daily, and one gives Saturday as 10:00 to 20:00. These are almost all copied listings, so check before going on a Sunday. One diner who arrived around 8:30 one weekday evening was told the kitchen would close at 9:30 that night.
- Many posts copy the phone number 0507-1388-0564. Four say you can book through Naver, and one shows a booking confirmation. The claim that only a fixed amount of pork is prepared each day, so late diners may miss out, is hearsay.
- Several posts relay that the owner also runs the whelk-and-chicken pub in the same building and will send its dishes upstairs; one diner saw fried chicken arrive at a neighbouring table. Most posts praise the kimchi and sides, but one found the kimchi ordinary rather than bossam-style and the dried-radish salad store-bought-tasting.
