Beusyabeusya Seongsu Bonjeom

브샤브샤 성수본점 Busyabusya is simply 'shabu-shabu' with its syllables turned around, as one post points out.

Other · Seongdong-gu, Seongsu-dong 1-ga

Compiled from 22 blog posts read in fullSources →

Busyabusya's Seongsu flagship is a shabu-shabu house in a two-storey detached building down an alley behind Ttukseom Station, with a water wheel and a small pond out front. Pork shabu-shabu (Jirisan pork shoulder, neck or belly) is 18,900 won per person, Korean beef brisket 24,900 won, and a weekday 11:00-14:00 lunch set runs 12,900 won. Most diners split the pot between two of three broths: hiresake, mala, or spicy mushroom. The hiresake broth starts with staff setting sake alight to toast pufferfish fins. You mix your own dipping sauce at a sauce bar, and the meal continues with kalguksu noodles, rice porridge and frozen yogurt. We read 30 posts dated 10 September to 4 October 2026, 22 of them from actual visits; 5 were about other restaurants or another branch and were set aside.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. There are private rooms: 13 visit posts mention them. A party of six who booked through CatchTable for lunch was put in a room that seated all of them. Posts place rooms on both floors, and one says they are only half-enclosed, more booth than room. Several advise booking ahead if you need one.
  2. Celebrity autographs line the walls; 11 visit posts say they saw them, naming Hearts2Hearts, NCT, TVXQ and Super Junior. Posts that only repeated the claim that SM idols are regulars were not counted.
  3. Four posts say you order from a kiosk or tablet at each table.
  4. Views on the spicy broths split four to one: four posts found the mala or mushroom broth hot, one said the mushroom broth was barely spicy. One post noted the split pot works for groups where someone cannot take heat.
3 more
  1. Three posts said the pork had no gamey smell; several writers were trying pork shabu-shabu for the first time.
  2. Three posts called the portions large; two of them could not finish the noodles or porridge.
  3. Three posts said it was not expensive; one was surprised the full run through noodles, porridge and dessert came to under 20,000 won a head. No post called it pricey.

Getting inside

Second floor12 of 22 posts
In a basementyes 0 · no 2 (of 22 posts read)

Both floors are in use; 12 visit posts mention the upstairs. Two were sent upstairs because the ground floor was full, one of them at 3 p.m., when the second floor held only one other party. Two were seated on the ground floor.

No one wrote about a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller, so we don't know. One post says you reach the second floor by stairs; none mentions a lift.

No one described the toilets from experience; 'toilet inside, separate for men and women' appears only in three copied info blocks.

No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 25 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • No post describes queueing. Two were sent upstairs because the ground floor was full, and three booked ahead through CatchTable or similar; one warned that seats fill soon after opening.
  • Many posts pitch it as a date spot, but none says the writer went with a partner. Those who said who they went with: friends in three posts, a group of six in one, a mother in one.
  • All 16 posts that give hours say daily 11:00-22:00, last order 21:00, no afternoon break, but every one is copied from an info block. The only first-hand evidence is one post that ate there at 3 p.m.
  • Meat prices match across posts, but extras do not: one post lists a 2,000-won surcharge per broth, another 4,000 won for a half-and-half pot, the rest none. Rice paper is free in most accounts, but a lunch-special diner paid 2,000 won for it. Only one post gives a total, under 20,000 won a head.
  • The number 010-8848-9894 appears in seven copied info blocks. Bookings mentioned were made through CatchTable; no one reported booking by phone.
  • Eleven posts published between 10 and 14 September run through the same points in the same order: SM idol autographs, a private room rare for Seongsu, no break time, fine for solo diners. Only one discloses sponsorship. Two later itinerary posts by the same blogger reuse that sponsored visit, so we did not count them again.
