BURGER DIVE
버거다이브 Beogeo Daibeu Burger Dive is simply the English name written in Hangul; one visitor joked that the big sign looks like a burger about to dive into water.
Data as of · Published ·
Burger Dive is a smash-burger shop on a side street off Wangsimni-ro 8-gil in Seongsu-dong, a few minutes' walk from Ttukseom Station. The menu splits into a 'Smash' line (patties pressed flat on the griddle) and a 'Green' line with lettuce and tomato; the September menu runs from ₩9,500 for the green burger to ₩12,900 for the double smash. A set adds ₩4,000 for thick fries and a drink (the ₩9,900 smash burger becomes ₩13,900). You order on the tablet at your table, help yourself to water, sauces and plastic gloves at the self-service bar, and return your tray when done. A post from 23 August mentions a grand-opening review event, so the shop opened in August 2026. We read 26 posts dated 10 August to 1 October 2026; we set aside 4 that were about other businesses (including a cake shop in the same building's basement), and 19 record an actual meal.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.
What sets it apart
- Eleven posts say it is an easy walk from the subway: two to three minutes from Ttukseom Station exit 6 ('just go straight out of the exit'), three to five minutes from exit 7 via the first alley, or ten minutes from Seongsu Station exit 3.
- Seven posts describe ordering on the tablet at your table; the kiosk by the door is for takeaway only, and you pay up front. One post guessed that cash payers have to go to the counter.
- Eight posts describe the seating. One counts two rooms — four- and two-tops plus a high chair by a big window on one side, three four-tops and three two-tops on the other; another counts ten tables; a third says there is a main hall and a separate room, with two-tops that can be pushed together. Opinions on size differ: 'roomier than expected' against 'not that big'.
- Nine posts mention draft beer: Cass at ₩2,900, or ₩400 extra to swap it in for the set drink; Stella and Hoegaarden at ₩2,900–3,900 in another. Only one post actually drank a glass (330 ml); others resisted because it was midday or they had to go back to work.
- Seven posts mention the Naver receipt-review event: write a review and get a chicken tender, a drink or coleslaw, one per person, so a pair gets two. An August post called it a grand-opening offer.
- Seven posts praise a crisp coating, mostly on the chicken rather than the burgers — the review-gift tenders, the chicken legs, the crispy hot chicken burger, the cheese stick. One diner was surprised the tenders were the highlight.

What people order

Parking
2 posts say you cannot park. None say you can.

Two posts say the shop has no parking of its own. Several copied info blocks say 'no parking' and point to the Seongsu Art Hall public lot, but we did not count copied text. No post describes arriving by car.

Getting there

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for the address instead.

The address says ground floor, but the shop is up a flight of stairs. Six posts call it the second floor ('it's on two, so up the stairs you go'; 'officially the ground floor but it feels like the second'), while two say ground floor. One diner nearly walked into the shop below before realising it was a cake shop.
Five posts say you climb stairs to reach the door. Two specify that the entrance is not under the main sign but half a flight up the stairs on the left; another says the real door is to the right of a large decorative one at the top.
No post mentions a wheelchair, a stroller or a lift. All we know is that there are stairs; that is not proof there is no other way in, only that nobody wrote about one.
Five posts say the toilet is inside the shop — behind the two-seat tables, locked when in use. One notes it is unisex but clean, with hand soap.
No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 22 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Opinions on heat differ. Three posts call something spicy — the double hot smash ('barely spicy for Koreans'), the hot smash ('slightly hot'), and a slight kick in the dopamine burger's sauce. Another post that ate the same double hot smash said it was not spicy at all, and the crispy hot chicken burger was described as both 'not very hot' and 'pleasantly spicy'.
- No post describes waiting for a table; one only guessed that turnover would be quick if it were full. That does not mean there is never a line — nobody wrote about one.
- Of the posts that say who they came with, three came with a husband or boyfriend, two with friends (one a party of four lifelong friends), one with a mother, one alone; another came with a coworker for lunch.
- Ten posts list opening hours, mostly in copied info blocks, and they disagree by weekday. All agree on a 10 a.m. opening and a 9 p.m. close on Saturday and Sunday (last order 8:30). Most say Monday runs until 2:30 a.m., but posts from 21 August and 1 October say Monday closes at 9 p.m. Friday closing is given as 10 p.m., 10:30, 11:30, midnight or 2:30 a.m. depending on the post. Check with the shop before a late visit.
- No post calls it expensive, and five say the prices are fair for a craft burger. There are some mismatches: the green burger was ₩8,500 in a 21 August post and ₩9,500 in September ones, and one ranking list copied set prices ₩1,000 higher than diners paid. A single set runs ₩13,900–16,900; one diner paid ₩29,400 for a set plus a second burger.
- Posts disagree on the link to Danos, a burger shop in Nonhyeon-dong: one says Danos moved here and renamed itself Burger Dive, another that the former Danos opened a new branch in Seongsu. Both are hearsay; we do not know which is true.
- The phone number 0507-1333-2107 appears in six posts' info blocks. Reservations appear only as a copied 'reservations available' line; no post describes booking.
- Many posts read like commissioned pieces: twelve of the meal posts repeat almost word for word that the patty blends Korean hanwoo with Australian wagyu and that the bun smells of butter, and several end with the same hashtag set. Only one, from 15 September, discloses sponsorship. We treated the patty claim as the shop's own marketing and counted only what each post says it ordered, paid and saw.
